Jenny M: This book for me was an awaking. I have had several different connections to the traditions of the Myrrhophore. I am a energy and sound healer. I have felt deeply connected to Mary Magdalene, Isis, Sofa, the Ancient Egyptian Culture and Mystery schools. I now incorporate these 20 oils and a few others in my clients healing sessions. The work is powerful and result driven. Thank you, Sister, for bring forth this remembrance in me.
I pray the Myrrhophores return in large numbers as they are greatly needed.

WendyPar: The author writes every page in a way that's easy to understand. She briefly explains modern day aromatherapy and Sacred Oils and how it differs in that it's used more for its spiritual and esoteric qualities, its roots going back to Shaman practice. What caught my attention is when she shared about her learnings~lineage of Myrrhophores, an ancient and secret group of women who work with the oils for the highest good of everyone. I never heard of such term and it peaked me to read further. I am not even half way through this book as it is a slow process of learning the few I've chosen. I gave this a 5 star because each of the 20 sacred oils are well explained with exercises and plant mandala that goes along with it, including what oils to use for chakra work. ** Also, Psychopomp ~ working with those who have passed or are about to pass. I hope to one day in near future, take her online classes. I'm very satisfied with this book and would highly recommend to any of my friends or family wanting to do spiritual and soul work on various levels.

T. Jackson: My mother recently passed away and for about a month before her passing, I used oils on her because it seemed to soothe her. There is one in particular that I used in her final weeks because it helped her to relax. One of my pastors saw me apply it and told me that it was as if I was anointing and preparing my mom for her transition. This book helped me learn that instinctively that is exactly what I was doing.

I've always felt a tie to Mary Magdalene and especially to Isis. I believe I lived a past life as an Isis priestess and this book seemed to confirm that for me.

I now want to read Felicity's Soul Midwives book and to practice more with the use of Sacred Oils.

The book was very informative explaining exactly what type of oil should be used and provided contraindications and a meditation and Mandala to dive deeper with the oil. I enjoyed reading the case studies too. Great book.

S.M. Johnson: There is a saying 'don't judge a book by it's cover' That does not apply to Sacred Oils by Felicity Warner. The cover is beautiful - a lovely design and gorgeous rich colours with the title words in glitter gold. And the content is very precious too. I have long been a fan of essential oils am amazed by their healing qualities. I have enjoyed body massages and facials given me by aromatherapists throughout the years. Now there is essential oil spray to spray in our rooms as well. But this book - this takes the knowledge of some of these essential oils to a different level. Sacred Oils. Used by Myrrophobes - mistresses of the oils -since the beginning of time. The knowledge has been passed down from woman to woman over the centuries by word of mouth and this is the first time the information has been written down. How impressive it is. Felicity has written about 20 of these oils. There are a few more she says but it is not yet the time to write about them. The twenty oils seem a remarkeable collection as some can only be found in far flung corners of the ancient world and some grow quite easily over here. Mrs. WHM: I eagerly awaited the arrival of this book and not only has one of it's oils already deepened my understanding and protected me, I just ordered my 5th copy for an overwhelmed empath. I know she will use this book and it's knowledge not only for herself but especially to deepen her healing of others. I use Palo Santo, but now I have the back up knowledge of how this oil works and what all its properties are. It is a book full of insights, wisdom and teachings. It's as if you hold in your hand, you feel the healing Felicity is wanting to share. Her writing is eloquent, respectful, compassionate and kind. She trusts you to trust yourself using sacred oils. Whenever Felicity Warner writes, we need to hear, listen in, read and share healing forward.

It is beautifully written from a deep knowledge of, and experience of, working with these precious essences. Felicity shares her knowledge with clarity and insight, clearly with a deep love of her subject. She is totally inspirational in her work, and it is a privilege to have been taught by her. As a trained clinical aromatherapist, soul midwife and interfaith minister, I have found the book draws clear distinctions between oils used in conventional aromatherapy, clinical aromatherapy and oils used for their ancient, sacred purposes. Some of the oils are as yet untried by me, so I look forward to working with them. "Sacred Oils" will find pride of place in my soul midwives' tool-bag, along with my own collection of sacred oils.
