Dr. Eric Zielinski's Essential Oil Guide for Holistic Wellness

UnbiasedAlways: I almost deducted two stars but decided to only take away one because the book is so informative and the information that it provides is the most important thing to me. BUT, I spent the $28 for the spiral bound version because I wanted a physically high quality and durable book. For this price I expected the covers to be thick, plastic or laminated--but they are just like card stock.. and I've only been flipping through it since last night and already the spiraling is starting to unravel because the spirals are not actually "bound" they are open. So I'm going to gorilla glue the ends of the spiral and actually bind them. I can live with the card stock cover.. I can't accept the book falling apart.. but that shouldn't be a problem after I glue it. But I gotta be honest, had I known the cover was just a paper material and the spirals are open ended I would have just paid half the price to get the paperback.. I mean this is essentially also just a paperback as well.. but if you're like me and you prefer the mechanics of a spiral bound book then go for it.

Mother of 5: I took about a dozen books out of the library before finding this one and ordering a copy. There is so much great information and formulations presented in an easy to read and enjoyable way.

Chuck ThompsonChuck Thompson: Well researched by the Authors. Fantastic level of details though for myself I still have to delve deeper into the science, these folks have done that as I can't find fault with their presentations. So I applaud their level of details and the fact that they are spot on. They write to the level of the average reader. I have since bought another one of their books and between the two, it's a great level of education and information.

I need more detailed information as I am a master distiller studying the history of essential oils and their production and am moving forward into production of such which is why I need much higher levels of information. For the average person who does not need a higher level of details, this book is fantastic and will serve you well.

Sharon Wittmeier: This book is packed full of helpful information. My daughter keeps trying to borrow it but I love to keep it handy to keep reading and learning new things. I love essential oils and realize the importance of them for good health. The fragrance of these oils are addicting and my husband makes sure we travel with a diffuse and essential oils.

Fredy Emch-Zielinska: The family Zielinski gives a refreshing and detailled overview over the theme with a rich list of citation of newer scientific publications. I criticise two important negative points in this book: the too often repeated citations of publications and aids selled by the family Zielinski ( once at the beginning and at the end would do it ), and the often repeated mixture of christian belief and biblical citations with the theme of essential oils, which is not tolerable for me. Sorry for my hard words, I think it is important to mention.
