Le plan de nutrition est d'abord bien explique avec les différents métabolismes, les calories nécessaires les aliments leurs apports etc c'est toute une préface et ensuite vient le plan en lui même selon notre métabolisme. Très bien détaillé les plans sont au départ identiques pour ensuite évoluer au fil des semaines en fonction de notre métabolisme. Bref très instructif et complet !

Michele: Premetto che è ancora presto per dare giudizi. Quello che posso dire è che è un libro concreto, un vero "how to" per una cultura alimentare che ci accompagni per tutta la vita. Se funziona lo scoprirò tra qualche mese.
Edit: purtroppo le tabelle degli allenamenti sono senza numero di set e ripetizioni. Un errore di stampa, suppongo.

Maggie: The only problem with this diet is I need a new wardrobe cause nothing fits. I've lost 20 lbs in about 3 months. Down to 117! Some weeks I don't lose even a pound, but I keep losing inches. Seriously, I have never lost "fat" like this before! Yes ladies, I am talking belly fat! Muffin top-gone! And I eat more food than I did before I started the program. Gretchen P. Johnston: I purchased this book recently and read through it all in one night. The reason I could is that fully half the book is dedicated to menus and food plans for the various body types.
First of all, let me say that I have not tried this program. I found the concept of eating enough food and drinking enough water to make your metabolism run at 100% efficiency a compelling idea. I also like the fact that he differentiates between three metabolic types: Protein and fat efficient (which may be why Adkins works for so many); Carb efficient; and the "rare" dual metabolism which processes all three equally. According to Goglia, only 3% of the population have this type; I guess I am one of the lucky ones, because my lipid profile meets his requirements for that type. Finally, I really appreciate the fact that he acknowledges that bodies are dynamic, so you must constantly reevaluate your food needs and change them as your body changes.
If I needed to lose weight quickly and safely in a short amount of time, I would definitely turn to this program. Goglia's program requires that you eat seven times a day and drink one ounce of water for each pound of body weight daily; it also...

Lauren Wu: I'm not overweight, but I want to improve my body composition. I've done a lot of research on the subject and I have come to the conclusion that the secret to reducing body fat is that there is no secret. The only way to do it in a healthy, safe, sustainable way is through proper diet & exercise. Before reading this book, I had two problems with my existing fitness regimen: (1) with regards to diet, I was eating nonfat foods and keeping within my calorie range, but I was eating too many carbs at the expense of not ingesting enough protein. I am much more focused now on eating nutritionally balanced meals. (2) I *love* cardio exercise, and would happily do step aerobics & cardio kickboxing exclusively. After reading Phil Goglia's book, it finally clicked that for my body type, I should be eating adding weight training to my exercise routine. The results have been great. I also like his theories on water consumption. I am drinking a heck of a lot more water than I used. I've cut out juice (I'd rather eat a piece of fruit) and aside from water, the only other liquid I drink regularly is milk (and chocolate milk at that!).
