J Moyer: Exact replacement for old stiff seal. Easy to replace.
Pro tip - cut the length so you have about 2 - 3 inches extra on each end and then after the new seal is on the channel, stuff the extra back inside of the tube formed by the seal and adjust it to lay against the outer layer. This will prevent the seal from shrinking away from the ends and makes a neat job.

gpslouis: Used this product to replace the seal in an Amarr garage door purchased from Costco about 15 years ago. Installation was easy and it fit perfectly.

One tip: The original seal had T edges that were different widths, one edge 5/16" and the other 1/4", so I was concerned about whether the new seal would slide in without a fight. However, the track accepted the new seal smoothly and securely, so it seems that the track was actually designed for a seal with 5/16" T edges. I have no idea why Amarr used a seal that had one edge that was only 1/4" wide.

This seal is a little more pliable and slightly thinner than the original but it still seems rugged. Time will tell as far as durability goes.

Total installation time was about 10 minutes with my wife helping to guide one side in straight while I pulled the seal through the track.

SCC: Fit my Amarr door perfectly. Installation highly variable based on your door - probably will need a clamp or vice grips to let your door "down" a bit when released from the up/down mechanism. Obviously many variants of door channels and mechanism to access the channel - mine was like none I found on You-tube or other "how to" sites. Critical to making the replacement easy is thorough cleaning of the two channel "tracks" on your door prior to inserting the "T" channels for the new replacement seal. I used water with a couple of drops of dishwasher detergent in a spray bottle to first clean the tracks, using a brush, and then more water/soap to use as the lubricant. (Don't use Windex - that product can have damaging affects on rubber seals/insulation due to the ammonia. Use soapy water.)
My garage door was double width, about 17 feet. Only one "end" of my door had access to the track to replace the insulation strip. The other end was blocked by a steel plate that was part of the hanging mechanism - so check both sides - your tracks may be much more accessible from one end of your door than the other end - mine was.
