Liam: The pedal is simple to use and does what it says. You plug it in and it's good to go, and I like that there is a switch you can flip to "invert" the pedal to have your instrument sustain when the pedal is up and dampen when the pedal is down.

The construction feels a little cheap but at $15 there's really not a price justification to complain about that. The important thing is that it looks and feels like an actual piano pedal which is good.

My biggest complaint however is that this thing is noisy. Specifically, the pedal sticks to something that is inside of the housing, so that when you press down, it makes a very clear "unsticking" noise that is very distracting. You would easily be able to hear this noise if you are recording yourself or playing for a small venue. It's not a hassle to fix - I had some thin adhesive foam that I was able to shove in there which got rid of the noise, so ultimately it's not a big deal. But because of this issue the pedal was borderline unusable out of the box which is why I'm only giving 3 stars. I'd probably look elsewhere just to avoid this issue alone because no one likes a product that needs work right out of the box.

Huevos Rancheros: Nice sustain pedal, comfortable pressure. Worked out of the box. Using it with Arturia Keylab MK1, and it was recognized immediately. Makes a big difference in playing piano, have to try it on some of my other keyboards.
Really a dandy pedal for the money. would buy again. may buy another as a backup and for use on other keyboards. I've got a yamaha this would be so nice on....
nice for home studio or other home use. Don't think it would last long on the road, but I may be wrong on this ascertion as I have not given it the musician's torture test....

after a couple of weeks, i did notice it slides around a bit, so I added some velcro, just the spiky bit, on the bottom, since I'm using it on carpet. That did the trick. I also added some glow in the dark stars to make it easier to see in the late evenings. Still love the pedal though, just needed a few tweaks to make it operational in my envrionment..

Tech and music geek: I've had this for well over a year. I use it on my midi keyboard and it's worked great. I do have a little issue with it sliding but put some double sided tape on the bottom and it helped a lot.

If it doesn't work and the notes are sustained when you plug it in, there's a little switch on the side that fixes that.

I would recommend this if you need a sustain pedal.

Teine: It's not like the pedals on the accoustic piano, does the job to practice which is what I use the keyboard for (to practice at night)
