Brandon D. Walker: I got this set for outdoor fire pit usage. I wish the brush was stiffer. Good deal for the price.

Paula Downie: Yoke broken on first shipment returned with no problem got a replacement, yoke broken on replacement and tools were all used. tried to just get new yoke never happened had to ship whole thing back and give up on this. Tools looked like descent quality for the price but the stand was crap. the best I can say is they returned my money and I was able to return at no cost to me.

Monty33:
I bought this set because I wanted a simple, clean looking black set to match my new black fireplace doors. I didn't want fancy decorations or other embelishments on my tools, and this set fit the bill.
Like other reviewers, I did notice a couple of scratches out of the box. They were on the shovel face, so after using it a couple of times, they were covered over. Also, it is real easy to put together as the pieces just screw together and the stand is the same.
The only issue I have with this set is that the tools don't sit very well in the stand. In other words, when you take out the tongs, they don't go back in place without a bit of manuevering. Same with the other tools--you have to make sure they are sitting just right in the holder before letting them go, or they'll fall off.
Overall, it's a good set for the money. Simple design and heavy weight. I would give it more stars if the tools would sit in the holder better.

Domeehoo: We have an outdoor fireplace and use natural wood (not the chemical log things like duraflame). Our old tongs bent and the shovel broke after 10 yrs, so we needed to get the set replaced. The tongs on the uniflame set seem quite durable. We've used them several times now and they work for small and large logs. I was worried they would be bendy after reading a couple ratings but they have done well so far. Only had them a bit over a week. The broom does seem flimsy and too soft for a fireplace but we rarely ever use the broom so we don't care. The stand does wobble a bit but not enough to irritate me...which is easy to do. We love that the tongs have the two equal handle levers instead of the long and short (I hate those things). I hope it lasts 10 yrs like the previous set. Oh, we also keep them inside the garage instead of outdoors because our area is so windy they'll blow away like our swing & umbrella.

Hattie MidboeHattie Midboe: Either it’s not designed to actually fit together or the wrong piece was included in the set. The top (called the Yoke) cannot screw into the top of the Base Rod (so it just sits loosely on top, which is not at all stable enough to hold the tools) and the handle cannot screw onto the base rod on top if the yoke is there. See pictures.
If there wasn’t this issue, it seems like it would be very durable and work well.
