Ultrabreathe ASI7492: Compact Breathing Exerciser for Improved Respiratory Health

Tim Williams: This is an early review...I will follow up. I bought this to condition my breathing for some hiking and biking. I find my limitation in these tends to be feeling like I'm "running out of breath". I am heading to higher elevations in the Sierra Nevada, and thought this might help in my prep.

This came with thorough directions, although it does misspell some words like "breathe" (chuckle). The directions are not only clear, but advise on how to manage and temper your exercises in steps so you get full benefit without overdoing it at first. Adjustments allow you to exercise breathing in as well as exhaling - really cool.

Very simple, very clear, and very inexpensive. Thanks folks!

Samm is Psyched: Works great....im a runner now and i didnt run in like forever. I used this for a couple days and then one i went to the gym with my friiend and i was able to run for 30 mins straight or about alittle over 3 miles. I just want to note tho that im in better shape now. I used to be out of breath everytime i ran before . But prior to using this i lost about 40lbs and because of the workouts i do(mainly mma style explosive movements)i developed more endurance and strength. But this device helped me with my breathing. I also recover quicker when im out of breath. You gotta wash and rinse after every uses or else next time you use it you'll start blowing out saliva. Overall good product.

Rudy: I have been using this product for a couple of months so far, and from what I experienced so far, the product does what it says it does. It is light weight, easy to clean, easy to operate, and fits comfortably in your mouth. The breathing exerciser fits in your mouth like a mouth piece. The instructions are easy to understand. On some of the reviews I have seen for this product, I have seen people put down saliva leaks out of it. I have not experienced that at all. I breath in and out 25 times before I work out and 25 times after I work out. I am at the toughest setting now. I worked my way up for 2 months. Every few days I can tell a difference in how strong my breathing has developed.

Tim: I bought this thing for my wife as an alternative to steroid inhalers and pills. She was diagnosed with bronchitis and then later, with asthma. I saw the pills that she was told to take and watched as she became dependent on that steroid inhaler, just to breathe at times. After doing some research on these conditions and what causes them, I deduces that if you increased the strength of your lungs, you could offset the affects of bronchitis and asthma. Especially since the drugs only treat the symptoms and not the lungs. So, enter this contraption.

My wife humored me after she finished her last batch of prescription pills but still held on to her inhaler, (just in case).. After two weeks of me making her do her daily 5 minute treatments, she got rid of the inhaler. Now she uses it ever couple of weeks (not as often as i would like), to maintain her breathing comfort but no more prescription pills or steroid inhalers. Happy ME..

She went back to the doctor a few months later and low and behold, no asthma, or bronchitis and no more medications.. Im not a doctor and by no means am I stating that this will be the same result for everyone. Im telling you about my...
