Marcie: My eye doctor told me to put hot compresses on my eyes every day for about 15 minutes. He said to use a damp washcloth. But I would have to re-heat it about 10 times. Royal PITA. I heat this up in the microwave and put it on my eyes on a damp washcloth. Done. Feels really nice and smells really nice. The weight is perfect also. Reminds me of heated homemade cherry pit pillows my Swiss friends always took to bed. And I did too when I was there in the winter time!
