Kristy Croft: I am absolutely in love with this heating pad! It works perfectly for my cramps, back ache, and neck tension. I have always had tension migraines and this is instant relief! Not only do I love it, but my boyfriend is the one who recommended it—he bought one 2 years ago and he loves it! Not only him, but if I leave the room, my cat is always lounging on it. I had a small heating pad of a different brand, and it barely got warm and this heating pad is always perfect since there's so many levels. The cord is super long which is nice because I have outlets far from my bed and couch. The auto-off function is great so I never have to worry about remembering to turn it off. I bought the Zen Green color and it is stunning, super soft, and matches my aesthetic perfectly! I highly recommend it!!!

Nancy Pearl: This is my first new heating pad in many, many years, and I gather that heating pad technology has improved a lot since my last purchase. The Pure Relief XL is certainly the best heating pad I've ever owned, and (subject to the limitation that I've only been using it for a week or so) it seems just about ideal in every way: The size is ideal - smaller would be less useful, larger would make it a bit unwieldly; the heat range good - 6 settings is completely adequate, the lowest setting is low enough that I can't imagine wanting/needing it lower, and the highest setting is certainly high enough (I've never even used it, so far); the controls are easy to use and the setting are easy to see; the cord is long enough to make it easy to use in a wide variety of settings, i.e., nearby plug availability; the plush covering is comfortable/practical. It claims to be machine washable, which is good, although I haven't had a chance to test that, yet. And, of course, I can't speak to its reliability over time.

Angela Garcia: I recently purchased the "Pure Enrichment Pure Relief" XL heating pad.
It seems very nice in it's quality and one helpful feature is that you can remove the cord and wash the pad quite easily.
I use the pad mostly just to stay warm at certain times during the day while sitting.
I was previously using the "Figerm" XL soft heating pad, but when that variety was no longer available I decided to purchase this one, which seems even larger and longer than that one.
It is very soft and has an easy to use control panel that lights up when you adjust the setting.
This is very helpful on dark days or if someone was using it while sleeping, (which I sometimes did with my last pad.)
There are 6 settings and I noticed that the pad heats up very quickly, which was nice.
One thing I might've wished for was for the pad to run a bit hotter on it's higher settings, like my old pad did, but all in all it works very well.
Some people, like my husband, prefer when a pad doesn't get too hot, so those folks might like this aspect of this pad...(the fact that it doesn't get a little hotter is the only reason why I gave it a 4 in the ratings instead of a 5.)

Amazon Customer: I grew up with a heating pad and wanted one for myself that lived up to the one my family had. It did not disappoint! I love the soft outer cover and the ability to wash it. It took a while to heat up but once warm was great. I only wish there were a higher heat setting than 6 but it does work quite well. Even my dog loves it! Well worth the money. The quality is great.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: This product looks lovely with a very soft cover. The first 3, possibly 4 heat settings are useless. There seems to be a large difference in temperatures between settings 5 and 6. Another useless feature is the 'moist heat option' where you can 'spray' the cover with water. When I checked the surface temperature of the pad while on the 6th setting, it only reached 94.6F after being on for over 1 hour. I do not like that all of the safety instructions are printed 'directly on the fabric cover' itself. I am thankful that it was only in English. Pretty pricey, too.

4 buttons total on a remote. The product description made it sound like 8 heat levels.
The size says “XL” and is just barely long enough to cover the spine entirely. To me that would be a standard size. I cannot find and actual large size heat wrap that contends with the one I had that died. I wish there were any on the market larger than this.

I am a chronic pain sufferer. I have dealt with intense pain for many years and have bought, probably, more than a dozen heating pads over the years (dozens if you count the ones my parents bought me until I started working). I see a pain management specialist, monthly, who has been able to offer relief in the form of medication and epidural pain procedures. That's all great and effective. But none of it is 100% relief. I still have to be very careful with my activities to prevent further pain, and I often am not.

The physical limitations of chronic pain sufferers can be frustrating and you just want to be able to do the things you used to do. But that often results in a good deal of pain that surpasses the ability of medication, alone. There is always some pain that only a good heating pad can relieve.
