Brent: Product arrived quick and I installed it in about 30 min. My tapwater had previously tested high for copper (1398 ug/L when under 1000 is recommended in my Canadian province (Sask.). After installing the filter I re-tested the water and its now 16.8. Plus it filters out other stuff too. Double bonus is the kids like it so have stopped requesting that we get bottled water. Love that is lasts for 3 years. Definitely worth it!

GG48GGGG48GG: This is my second one. The first lasted 25 months. The flow became restricted to around 1 GPM. Water still tasted good though and even at the end of it's life was still enough pressure to wash dishes, etc. especially when blended with hot water.
After installing the new one, I have 1.72 GPM compared to the unfiltered hot which flows at 2.34 GPM. This means it is a 26.5% restriction. For the record, my water pressure is between 70 to 80 PSI which I think is relatively high.
Our municipal water is pretty good here from Consolidated Mutual Water in Colorado, but unfiltered you can really taste the chlorine. This Woder 10K filter does a good job of taking that chlorine taste out. I have not lab tested our water quality to compare filtered to unfiltered. I'm guessing it wouldn't be too different due to the contaminants being low to start with. I think this filter just makes the water taste better mainly because of the chlorine reduction, I'm guessing.
Compared to a 3M filter that costs more than double the price, the Woder is rated for 10K gallons as opposed to 6500 gallons for the 3M. That is the main reason I repurchased the Woder.

Angrybeez: Wow! I rarely write reviews but I was so impressed with this product i had to hop on and write one. I didn't receive this product on any sort of discount basis or anything like that. I bought this based on the other reviews, and i will be buying this filter again. First, the install was very straight forward, The hoses and fittings were of very good quality and did not leak at all. Sometimes you may have to tighten and tinker with a fitting to get it to not leak (especially in my 1920 home) But i did no such thing with these fittings. The included mounting bracket my look a little flimsy, but it is very strong and the filter fits into place with a very satisfying "pop"
Once the filter was in place i turned the cold water line back on and let the filter run for 5 minutes. I saw a very brief discharge of the charcoal fines in the filter, just as the instructions described. After 5 minutes of running the water is very clear, I dont taste any plastic or filter residue whatsoever, it tastes wonderful. there is a true night and day difference between what i was drinking, and what i am drinking now with my Woder filter. JRB: Great product, high quality throughout, easy to install and makes a great difference in water taste. For years I used a Pur water filter system which was attached to my kitchen faucet. Never liked the look, found it awkward to use at times, had noticeably diminished water flow when using, and had to replace fairly expensive filters every few months. I remodeled my kitchen and the new faucet style didn't lend itself to a Pur system, so I looked around and found Woder. The system is under the cabinet, lasts (per advertisement) for 10000 gallons or three years, and there's no noticeable decrease in water pressure. The manufacturer provides an on-line demo tutorial on how to install, but it's pretty straight forward. The compression couplings are top quality, so there's no worry about leaks once properly connected. A few minor beefs: 1) the written instructions state that the estimated life of the filter is 10000 gallons or up to one year, yet everything else I've seen or read state 3 years; 2) the unit arrives with the hoses already attached, yet the instructions state to apply Teflon tape to the threads prior to connecting.
