JosieJosie: I love this set. its my go to for making homemade fondant and gumpaste. the colors are vibrant and you dont need very much. just make sure you give it time to rest whatever you are making because it takes about 15 to 20 minutes for color to go full force in what you are making so let it rest before adding more color or you can add too much. There are plenty of colors in here and there is also a color chart that shows you on the internet how to mix the colors to get even more colors and variations. so just google chefmaster color chart mixing.

DAVID P FROST: If only this set came with larger bottles. I found these gel food colors, and the neon airbrush colors, to be very useful. Contrary to some reviews which I had read, the packaging was intact, with all bottles having secure caps, and inner safety seals intact. Additionally, there was a very handy color wheel that made mixing special colors very easy. I knew, when I ordered this set that the individual bottles were not too big, but I made so many frosted cookies, in myriad colors, that I found I ran out of certain of the primary colors. I will be looking to replace those, soon. The product blended, well, with the white frosting base. Interestingly, one of the colors included is white, which enables you to make colors more opaque.
