Nicholas & Cheyenne: It's not impressively sturdy or pretty, but it's a fine standard bed and does the job. I'm concerned about the metal slats that go beneath the mattress because, with enough wear and tear, I feel like they might start to bend. I have a teenage daughter who likes to have friends over, and they all sit on her bed. For the cheap price I'm willing to see what happens but it's possible I'll need to replace the bed sooner than I'd like to.

TrishF: Once it was put together it is great, however it took almost two days to set it up (4hrs 1st day + 2hrs 2nd). Love the look of it and it fits the room perfectly

KimmyKatttKimmyKattt: It took me maybe 30 minutes to an hour to assemble and it was quite easy. The bed is very sturdy and great for my teenager. It looks and feel really great. It's quite a steal for the price I paid.

Ruby7: I wanted something cheap but sturdy. My daughter loved the design of this bed. I was a bit worried about creaking. It arrived when promised. The box was a bit larger than card table, but same shape. No damages! I just put it up a couple days ago, actually my 11 year old started by herself. Instructions were pictures only but easy enough to understand. It feels sturdy when I laid on it. I am not a fan of the slats/poles under the mattress but warned her against jumping. It is high enough for her to store things underneath and I appreciate the support legs in the middle of the bed. No creaking so far.

Rick Resendez: This bed is a great bargain. The bed arrived in the box and you are required to assemble the bed but the instructions are excellent and they provide a diagram to help you piece it together. The bed is sturdy and the metal finish is pretty resistant to any scuff or scratch you might accidentally have from time to time.
Note: Don't forget the snap-in lock caps to the metal rods as these hold the rods in place and keep them from moving. I lost these and had to email the company (Homeelegance) to get replacements. They were quick to reply and provided me the parts at no cost.
Overall a great value and easy to assemble as well as disassemble in case of a potential home move.

Danielle Luna: We ordered 2 of these for our sons. They are very nice and a have a smooth finish. The second one was easier and faster to put together only because we knew what to do. Overall it was not difficult to put together though. Seems sturdy for our 8 and 10 year olds. Besides that, they are very happy with them. We would definitely recommend these. Great price, good arrival time and packaging, straightforward instructions on putting together....all a positive in my mind.
