Mookyzook: I'm pretty much obsessed with time travel novels at the moment so this might influence my review. The storyline was interesting and I liked the romantic touch. Not a bad novel by any chance and definitely worth reading. I just wish it had a little more drama, not an action storyline obviously but it slowed the pace down a bit. Will definitely check out others by this author.

Debbie Maxwell: This was recommended to me and with no knowledge of the premise, I dove in. With that, it started slow and I despised the antagonist. By the end I wanted nothing but the best for him and I was laugh/crying. Highly recommend this book.

You should too.

Luigi: While waiting for some of my favorite authors to publish their next books, I've been bingeing on books about Time Travel. I've been writing my autobiography and doing research into my genealogy. I even wrote a song called Time Machine, where I explored the challenge of starting again in my youth, knowing everything I know now, and pondering whether I would go back and make some changes, maybe do some things better or differently, knowing that if I did that, there is every possibility I might not meet my wife, and have my wonderful children and grandchildren.
I have just read Pearson's trilogy starting with The '86 Fix, one book after the other. I'm not great on serializations because often they come from formula writers stretching out an idea to make money, rather than enjoying the act of writing and finding out where the story will lead, and they end up getting boring or feeling manufactured. This is not one of those series. Each book complements the next and they go from very good to even better, finishing in a place you didn't realize you had arrived at.
The characters feel real and while I am a big SciFi fan, having grown up reading the masters of the genre, many...

john woodlands: A prequel to the books 86 FIX and BEYOND BROADHALL but written after the originals. Completely tidies up the story arc. I could not put this book down and read it in record time. I now wonder if the author will add further to this story. In any case, these three books are fantastic and a slightly different 'take' on time travel stories. The author has good knowledge of times past and near past with excellent details to fill in the visual scenes and bring back memories for older readers. As per the original books, the conversations are so real and very down to earth. Extremely entertaining. I will continue reading more books from this author.

ABS: I found "tuned out" to be a nicely written story. The plot was engaging and the characters were well rounded. I also appreciated the temporal elements regarding society.

Jill Reilly: I am a sucker for time travel stories. I thought this story was fun and made for a good read. The writing wasn’t great and the protagonist whined too much, but all in all, I enjoyed it.

Amazon Customer: This is my second book from Keith A. Parsons and I love it so much! Brilliantly written, amazing plot and loved the love story in it too.
It was a pleasant surprise to know this is actually a prequel to a time travel book series and as soon as I finished it (literally 5 minutes ago) I ordered the first book of the series "The '86 Fix" and I am looking very forward to reading it!
