Lydia: I know most cookie scoops are hard to keep lined up, but it’s just annoying when the little gear gets loose. Dishwasher safe and easy to use if it’s lined up right.

Geech: Nice for making cookies of different sizes. Good for fruit balls as well as ice cream but be sure it's on the softer side.

Digital Dreamer: I've been baking more, and I wanted cookie scoops to make more uniform cookies. I picked this one since it came in 3 different sizes. They are dishwasher safe and I hd no problems with them. They fit my hand perfectly and are easy to use.
One thing these aren't good for hard ice cream. It even says it on the box, so I would just use it for cookie dough and other stuff that is soft.

Jr.Gerardo-López: So far I use this scooper for cookies and it worked well. Yet, to try it on a watermelon, melons. But , Most of All that has me Up Set :( is that I went to use it on Icecream and it Poped out of its Track when I Squeezed it to get the Icecream out..!! I'm a Very Big Fan of Icecream and was looking to find a Good Scooper for Icecream. AND, THIS WAS NOT IT..!!. I have bought one WAY better @ The Dollar Tree. And, before anyone can THINK of anything the Icecream was set out to soften and the so called Icecream scooper was placed in warm water to help do the job the way I was thought while working @ 31 Flavors as a Teenager years ago. So, just to SUM it up. If you're looking for a cookie scooper.? This is it. But. If you're looking for a Icecream Scooper.? SAVE YOUR MONEY & Look somewhere else. As, far as a Melon Baller I can't post a rating on it because I've yet to use it for that. But I will update my Results later this summer. Poorly Made and the Manufacturer NEEDS to go back to the Drawing Board and use BETTER material for the Price I payed for it. I hope this Helps you in your Decision Making.
P.s. I had to break out a pair of Plyers to put it back in its Track and will...
