KP: This is a super easy way to have a healthy carb with lunch or to travel with and have healthy food. Flavors are pretty good, but the portions seem off. I tried to measure out a serving, but the second serving that’s “in there” is probably half what it says. Probably has to do with dry weight versus cooked. Still good and will buy again

Amazon Customer: Hesitant to try, usually things with "spicy" or a hint of that are too hot for me. So I tried the garlic, and liked how quickly it cooked. The one minute was perfect. I added my typical chili, garlic, cumin, and onion dry spices to the dish and it was just how I like it. I added enough broth from a canned chicken ( using half the can of meat), and I'm entirely satisfied with the adjustments. I will repurchase, as it's fast, and shelf stable. I rent a room with mini fridge and small microwave and this worked out perfectly. I especially like that the quinoa gives me an added protein instead of just chicken to fix. I am able to do qinoa in my rice cooker, but this is easier, and eliminates cooking a larger batch and freezing it.

Krissie Bacho: When Lent comes around every year, I try to give something up. Because of the culture and environment I grew up in, I eat white rice allll the time. I decided to challenge myself and give it up for Lent but wanted to find a tasty alternative. I like but don't LOVE quinoa, and I thankfully didn't give up brown rice, so this seemed like a good and healthy solution. I enjoyed the packaging (it was in a perforated box that seemed like it could have been put right on a grocery shelf), so I slid it right in the pantry. When I made a salmon dish, I decided to heat up one of the packets and really enjoyed the portion size and the balanced taste. Since they are individually packaged, I am more apt to stick to one package as opposed to making multiple. Not that I need more, because these are nice and filling. Even when I complete my "no white rice" challenge, I think I'll incorporate these more into my routine to be on the healthier side.

pleinelune: FIRST, I can get THREE meals from this. I plop about a third of it onto pita bread, add a bit of salsa, whatever and it is easily three meals for me from ONE pkg.
PROS:
INGREDIENTS - I LIKE to eat healthy, but I DO NOT like to buy all the ingredients and cook for myself. LOVE the ingredients, the organic, non-gmo and the great mix of quinoa, rice and lentils, olive oil and sea salt.
TASTE - OLIVE OIL AND SEA SALT - THIS is the best if you want to add your OWN spices as it's pretty bland.
SPANISH BLEND - Not super hot, but does have some great spices in it and I can just plop onto pita bread or a tortilla, maybe add a bit of shredded cheese and/or salsa. YUM
VEGETABLE MEDLEY - REALLY like this one. Was going to add things to it (and it would be good with some egg in it for more protein), but was SO tasty on it's own, I ate it as is!
TEXTURE/MOUTH FEEL - I expected this to have a bit more of an oil feel, not really OILY, but while it's moist, it's kind of like cooking rice with NOTHING added. I am FINE with that, but it was a little bit of a surprise.
QUANTITY - OK as I was just going to try first packet on it's OWN, I did eat the whole packet....

Elaine Carey-Goble: i love to use this as a starting place for creating my own recipe and vary it - i fix it for either hot meal or cold salad - add spinach, shredded carrots, purple onion, various kinds of canned beans, chia seeds or sesame seeds, dried fruit or berries from my garden and/or meat if desired - make it your own - drizzle a little organic red wine vinegar over it - add spices - or it is delicious on it's own but the pieces are so small that i add things to get more texture and healthful fresh ingredients - highly recommend this product
