Kie: I sticked it to my door where my cat scratches when it wants to go out early in the morning when people are sleeping or at night when people needs to start sleeping.
And it worked! My cat stopped scratching instead he meows but then he gets tired of meowing and he doesn't meow wildly so he'sa nice kitty.
He has gotten used to not being able to bother us and he also developed the routine of sleeping at nighttime. He's not a night owl-kitty anymore. He's now just a rooster-kitty!

Lincoln County MT: Ok shame on me. I won't make pet parent of the year award for sure. HOWEVER on that note I won't be yelling at the cats to stop scratching the walls so often either. We bought a 1950's custom built home by lumber mill company that's got wood panelling. True wood panelling on most of the walls throughout the home. In living room area and dining area think 16 to 24 foot high planks that reach from floor to open beam ceiling without a break. YEAH and we moved in with our 8 cats at the time we took ownership. I'm sure the builders long past might be turning over in their graves just shuddering about cats and their wood walls. WE are alive and we shudder. Also get a little horse from yelling at poor kit's. Only 2 kits these days and only one works the wood work these days too. Always many of our kit's never had interest but it only takes one or two or 3 that can do real huge damage. I bought yards and yards of 4 foot wide clear vinyl with plans to run it along the two major 24 foot hallways both sides panelled. BUT HUBBY in his cheap way instead cuts strips off it and uses stapless to attach. This looks horrible. This also comes down to constant fights between to stubborn people. I...

Consigliato

Karen L.Karen L.: It is tacky so lint and dust stick to it. Seems to have deterred the cat from scratching the arms of the couch.
I also used it on the carpet that runs upside of the stairs and it doesn’t stick well there. Cat was able to pull it off and he is a plastic eater and was chewing it and had ingested a piece before I caught him. Not for use on any material that has a pile (like carpet)

Sara D: We purchased this to try to teach our kittens to stay off of the kitchen table and the kitchen counters. For that purpose it works fabulously! I put a few stripes of the tape on the kitchen counter And at the edge of the kitchen table. After about 24 hours something told me to remove the tape. I reread the instructions on the package which said that it was easy to remove. But when “something” tells me to do things it’s never failed me, So I went to the kitchen and began peeling off the tape...rather, trying to peel off the tape. It took me a while, and there was a little bit of residue left behind, which came up fairly easily with just a little bit of rubbing, but feeling the tape off was very difficult. It kept splitting so I was peeling off all these little ribbons of tape. We are actually going to get some posterboard or thin cardboard And put the double stick tape on the cardboard and put the cardboard on the table and on the counter. That way I won’t have to worry about having double stick tape attached to my counter and my table forever.

Aubrianna Turpin: Love this stuff! Our cat was beginning to scratch the corners of our brand new couch. We had to do something to stop the behavior so we decided to try this tape. It came in a large roll so we have lots left over. It was easy to apply and it is SUPER sticky. Our cat tried to scratch shortly after I applied the tape. Her paw stuck for a few seconds and she gave up right away. So far so good! If I remember, I’ll give an update once it’s been on the furniture for a few weeks.
Edit: it’s been one week since I’ve purchased and applied the sticky tape. I must say, it absolutely worked. So well, in fact, that I felt confident enough to remove the tape today. My cat hasn’t shown an interest since I first put the tape on. One thing for buyers to look out for: the tape is VERY sticky. It was tricky to remove from my couch after it had been applied for a week. Not impossible. But tricky. Didn’t leave any damage to my couch that I can tell so, all in all, I can’t complain! Would buy and use again for sure

Kindle Customer: It stuck well, a little difficult separating paper from tape after first cut, but cat doesn't like it. Apparently it has a bit of odor at first, only a cat or dog would smell it. Doesn't show too much on the furniture.
