Ima GooberIma Goober: Both my house cats took to this instantly. Not a day goes by that they are not using it for scratching and or lounging for a nap. Sometimes they share it during nap time. I actually put mine on top of a sturdy box to elevate it a little bit. After months of use, both cats still enjoy this several times day. I have noticed a reduction in their desire to flex their claws on the sofa. A little sprinkle of cat nip over this and they will be delightfully entertained. Keep in mind, this is fairly lightweight. If it sits on a hard floor, it will slide around when kitty takes a flying leap.

Sanity in SF: I was actually surprised at how enthusiastically both cats took to this little scratcher. They have vertical posts that are very high quality and I thought they might not find a horizontal cardboard scratcher very exciting. Wrong! They both LOVE this thing. Surprising it does not create a huge mess of cardboard bits everywhere. Additionally, when I occasionally step on it by accident it is so strong the cardboard does not crumble or get crushed. I have no idea how the waffled cardboard base can be so strong, but that must be part of why they enjoy using it for scratching so much. They get a good workout. It's a very useful addition to our kitty-friendly home.

keno: I have a rather large cat who absolutely loves this scratcher! This is her second one. She sleeps on it most of the day, and she definitely uses it to scratch and work her nails. The cardboard is very thick and stands up to a LOT of scratching, and the overall shape and size works great for lounging. I'll definitely buy another when this one wears out.

Amylynn989: This is a great product! It's very sturdy and it holds up to my cat who is not declawed that constantly is scratching it! This is our second one this year only bc my other cat threw up on the first one and I couldn't get it cleaned out enough for my liking. This is for sure my little one's favorite cat product, maybe even more than treats!! She uses it multiple times a day to scratch, roll around in, and just to take a nap in! I hope they never stop making these bc we will always have one or two in our house at all times!
