Nico R: Used it to tow a woodsplitter on rural roads, used the hook to pullout a couple old vehicles and no issues. Picked up some black rust check paint and decided to coat the whole thing when I got it since others were noticing rust spots.

M6Man: Update 9/15/21- Almost three years later.
Bought a small bass boat on a trailer. Had stored this cool hitch inside, since the last episode described below. Took it out, and zero rust. Just the way I like it. Now you know why I take it off and store it inside! Anyway, having the multiple sizes of hitch balls, PLUS the hook- proved itself indispensable in an unexpected way. You see the trailer and boat are older, and turns out I needed a ball just smaller than the 2" (even though the trailer takes a 2" ball)- because the 2" didn't quite want to go in... The slightly smaller one though worked perfect in this case for that one time getting the boat home after purchase. An upgrade on the trailer hitch and tongue are coming soon anyway, but still. I maintain my 5-star rating of this product.
