GammaDog: I use this 3x's a week for making multiple batches. Im lactose intolerant and have been unable to find any lactose free yogurt and sugar free. I am a brittle diabetic and rely heavily on yogurt, lactose free, sugar free (including sugar substitutes) in local stores.

BP: The yogurt turns out perfect every time. Depending on how often you consume yogurt, this inexpensive yogurt maker has paid for itself and I absolutely know there is nothing but goodness in each serving.
The only thing I would say is a ‘dislike’ is that there is no ‘auto shut off’. For this price though, completely acceptable. Just set an alarm for when it’s ready. This has got to be the best but I’ve made on Amazon for the year!

LeonLeon: The machine is in excellent condition and light weighted, it is easy to mount to use. you just need to add culture into one liter of milk, and distribute the milk into seven glasses of bottles, and then mount these glass bottles on the machine. and you turn on the machine. it will cost one night time to ferment and then you will get seven bottles good home made yogurt you can indulge yourself. it is easy to clean in the dish washer. and you can add your favourite fruit chunk on the yogurt.

Cliente: Livraison rapide. Il fait du bon yogourt. Malheureusement il est arrivé brisé: le couvercle cassé et le fond de l'appareil a été percé, j'ai dû le coller avec du ruban adhésif .

madhavi: Easy to make the curd at home , i use canadian tire round tiffin box to make curd instead of the one provided with the product. 4 hrs is enough to make the curd except the lid that does not fit correctly.

Jen: I'm going to make this the kind of review where I call a spade a spade. This is a cheap, inexpensive, $20 product. I see that the price went up a few dollars since I bought it...but, truth is, this is not a fancy yogurt maker with bells and whistles or timer modes. This is the cheap model. And that's fine. So I'll review it for what it is.

It has worked great for me to make multiple batches of yogurt. I haven't had a bad batch yet. I agree with other reviewers who said that the yogurt is ready in 6 hours (sometimes sooner for me.) And that's also fine by me. I literally bought this because I wanted to try my hand at home-made yogurt making. I read how easy it was, but didn't want to invest too much money. Let's admit it--we sometimes buy gadgets that never get used. I didn't want to spend a lot incase this was going to be one of them! If you're in that boat - this is a good, cheap way to dabble your hand in making home-made yogurts!

I only ever have made plain yogurts. So I won't attest to adding fruits or anything since my whole goal was to make them as plain and unadulterated as possible. I can not always find a good plain yogurt with no other additives in the...

Justin Mirelez: This is my first yogurt maker and I am pleased at what the machine does. The machine is great, easy to clean, compact to a point. It is fat so it does take up a small bit of space, but it's light and easy to move so it's not a chore to haul it away.

Pro: Light weight, makes yogurt, not too ugly.

Cons: The instruction manual and the weird "time nob" on top.

This manual was written by someone who wasn't very enthusiastic about their job. The book was vague about how much you put into each yogurt cup. So I filed them all the way up, well. This didn't work out so well since you are only suppose to fill it a third of the way up. (Learned this from trial and error). So I went back and had to distribute it all equally.

Also, the book says you can't keep re-using your cultures from one batch to the other more than twice. This is untrue. There are cultures that can last months being re-used in batches. As long as you keep using the culture and not let it go "old".

The time nob is absolutely useless. I set a timer on my phone and used the time nob as a spinning toy while I was standing over it.

Overall, I recommend this yogurt maker, just find your...

Amazon Customer: I bought this yogurt maker mostly because my husband wanted single servings, and I wanted glass jars. It's been fantastic in the two months we've had it - I make a batch or two a week. I'm not too particular about how I do things - I don't boil the milk first and I use a store bought yogurt as my starter (takes about half of a single serving yogurt to start a batch, I freeze the rest of it until needed again). I've not been timing my batches - I mostly make them on my days off from work, and leave them at least five or six hours before I start checking them. As soon as I shake a jar a little and it stays solid, they're ready to go into the fridge.

After reading these reviews I was apprehensive about the lids on the jars being too tight. They're just perfect, in my estimation. They snap on and off easily, but are tight enough that I can carry the jars by their lids if I want to.

I haven't had any issues with the unit sweating. Maybe that's because I don't put hot milk in there in the first place?

The only reason this unit misses out on five stars is the lid of the whole unit. It's awful. It's hard to line up to place on the base. It doesn't stay on when I move...

Aimee: I got my yogurt maker today and I was excited to share with everyone my success with this product. It only took me 6 hours to get my yogurt to set versus the recommended 8-10 hours. I used 4 cups skim milk, 1/3 cup powdered milk, and 6 oz of Dannon plain Greek yogurt. I boiled the milk and powder to 170F cooled it to 110F added yogurt, then poured it into the cups and cooked it with the jar lids off. I do not think there is a problem with the heating element like in the other reviews.

I like the fact it comes with glass jars, but I wish the lids were twist on rather than pop off, its a bit of a tight fit.
