L. N. Hardin: Purchased as having superficial damage. The damage was greater than stated, as the handle on one unit was bent enough to cause it to slightly jam. It took a lot of pressure to bend that rod even slightly. This problem was greatly improved by working the handle several times to loosen it. I used it to support my pickup. No problems. However, this sort of damage should have been detected and possibly not resold.
