Richjt: I bought these for my son as he didn't have anything and is not close to home. I like the locking feature! It was important that these would be safe to use and the lock helps provide part of that feature! Very sturdy and holds a lot of weight.

RB1234: These arrived ok. I purchased through the used/returned program and I got a discount so I don't fault the manufacturer for the fact that the original packaging was destroyed and one of the two stands was missing it's safety key. I think that although there are many different manufacturer names to choose from, these all come out of the same plant but just have different color paint and product stickers. If the pictures look similar and they have same load rating, then all of them probably come from the same plant. Mine are built well and other than the issues noted above, I am happy with these. But if your shopping and trying to choose between two brands that look similar, they probably are so go for the cheapest.

Amazon Customer: Well made. Looks and feels very strong and safe to use. Has triangle plates welded to each corner of legs for added strength. I also wanted a safety pin in the stand as an extra safety precaution. Price was very good and about the same as other brands without safety pin.
