V: Decent jack, I have the 20-ton version. Using to move a large dead tree trunk. Lifts with relative ease. Recompressing the ram by hand load is not especially easy (generally true for all similar jacks), and you may need to bleed air out bottoming it out if you've pumped it at/past the max lift. To bleed, you need to "pinch" a rubber plug on the side of the jack while pressing down. Likely a non-issue under load, but something to mind if you try to retract ram by hand and it is not going all the down.

Amazon Customer: This small jack lifted my deck enough for me to fix one of the piers underneath. It worked well but I noticed that it was leaking from day one in the box. Not much mind you, but enough that the box was wet from the fluid. It doesn't seem to affect the operation of the jack and I can't seem to find out exactly where it's coming from.

W. Newburn: I bought this jack primarily to raise my Jeep Cherokee to change the tires in the spring and fall. It has plenty of lifting power and is stable while nearly fully extended. My only complaint is that it sticks after lowering and can be a real pain to depress low enough to get from under the vehicle.

Handy Man: The product has a very poor quality. The jack was rusted at the bottom and the paint chipped. The handle was very poorly welded to the body of the jack.It seemed that the handle could break any time. The welds consisted mostly of two bubbles of slag hanging there.I believe the handle should be made from a thicker material so it can resist to the weld, considering the thick wall of the bottle. The handle has been basically melted while welded to the bottle, there was not too much left. Therefore, I considered this product UNSAFE to operate. It should have a more sturdy handle by design. I did not try to lift anything, I just raised-it without any load and it was working fine. But it looked like an item from a garage sale not like a new product. It had two yellow labels named "Remediation" and some numbers which makes me to believe that it was rejected or returned before and it was meant to be repaired but by accident it was sold again. The price was good but I decided to return-it. Still waiting to get my money back.
