Ricine: Over 5 years of daily use and its still going strong. I use it as a reading light and itvis clipped to my bed board. I paid $9.99 for it in 2016. It costs quite a bit more now. I'm thinking of buying another. Just to answer some questions. You can't change the "bulb" because it is a sealed system. So when the bulb wears out that is it. You'll need to buy a whole new lamp. But it lasts a very long time. If it doesn't last a very long time you got a dud. The touch feature works flawlessly even now.. I hope a new one will be just as good as the first one I bought.

anvil breaker: My husband just loves the ability to dim or brighten the light with simply a gentle fingertip touch-and-hold on the end of the lamp! No fiddling for buttons or turning knobs the wrong way. He is almost 80 years old and is just about bed bound with very limited mobility. This lamp allows him to customize his own personal requirements for light depending upon the time of day and whether he is reading a book or something on his tablet with a lighted screen. At night, he dims the light completely before turning it off; the lamps automatic memory keeps it at this exact lighting so if he wakes in the night needing a bit of light, he has it at the gentle tough of a fingertip and knows it won’t wake me (my favorite part!). You can’t go wrong with this lamp! It would be great for college students studying in dorms too!

Daniel Hannum: I purchased this lamp six months ago. It worked and functioned great! But then starting about a month ago when I attempt turn on the light it always immediately turns off. I tried to reach out to the company for assistance or replacement but I have gotten no responses.

This could have been a great product, but the lack of customer service has forced me to give a 1-star review. The site says it has a 2-year warrantee but I would not bank on it. And you you may only get 6 months of use out of it.

UPDATE: The company has finally reached out to me and has mailed a replacement which works as advertised. So I am revising this to a five-star review. It really functions great, and so long as the company lives up to its two-year warrantee, I would consider it a five-star product.

Vispian: Great task light, much brighter than I expected. I've had it for a couple months now and use it daily. I don't use the dimmer very often, but it works well if you need it. I've used it as a reading light, desk lamp and it's final home - to light up the sewing area on my sewing machine. It sits right behind my sewing machine, lighting up the dark neck perfectly. That's not really what it's for, but I find it worked better than 2 dedicated sewing lights I've tried. It is USB powered (cord included), so you can run it from a battery, wall adapter (one comes with the lamp, nice!) or even from your laptop. The neck is stiff but flexible, holding the position you bent it to very well. The clamp is very versatile, allowing you to mount it just about anywhere you need some extra light.

In a nutshell, I'm very happy with this light, highly recommended.
