Ramblin Man: This bag has lots of room. It easily attaches to a Topeak rack, sliding on and off with a latch to keep it in place. You can carry a lot of bike equipment and other personal gear. It comes with a handle and a sling, so you can carry it around when you park you bike and lock it to a bike rack.

Mike: The TrunkBag EX is the smaller of two similar bags, the EX and DX. I have owned both and find the DX to be far more flexible and convenient. When choosing a bag, please consider your overall storage plan for your bike. I have paired these bags with the great Topeak Explorer rack, and the more expensive Topeak Super Tourist rack. The Explorer allows the use of a Trunkbag OR side panniers, but not both. The Super Tourist allows you to mount a trunk bag AND separate panniers. There is a version of these bags with integrated panniers. but they make mounting/dismounting the bag far less convenient, are not water proof unless you buy an optional (and very difficult to use) rain cover, and fill up the side pockets taking away a significant storage space. If you are looking for a trunk bag and panniers, I strongly suggest the DX trunk bag, Super Tourist rack, and separate panniers.

The problems I have with the EX, which is known to be smaller than the DX, is the side pockets on this bag are completely useless. They are flat and tight, meaning you can only fit something flat in them like maybe a map or some paper. This might be excusable if this bag did not also cover the side rails...

Sedatious: Very well thought out mounting system with TOPEAK's MTX quick latch and release to take the bag with you. Holds a good bit of cargo securely, i.e. wallet, keys, cell-phone, etc., without having to wear cargo pants/shorts to house them all. Lots of room leftover for whatever else your mind can envision fitting into this bag. If I were to deduct a star for anything? It would be price. Between this bag and the TOPEAK rack you need to buy separately to mount it to your bike, you're well over $150 and closer to the $200 price point. But I'm not going to deduct a star because like I said in the headline, it's expensive but once you have it all setup, you'll love it. Recommended for the more serious bicycling enthusiast that spends a lot of time on two wheels.

Erle Williams: Very nice bag, lots of room and rigid sides. I wish the rear velcro fastener was a little longer as it doesn't fit real well on my Pedego rear bike rack. When I slide the rear velcro strap under the spring loaded rat trap, the front velcro won't reach. What I do is fasten the two front velcro straps and then thread the rear velcro strap under the bike rack but it could use about two or three more inches to fasten better. With that said once fastened it stayed there and didn't move at all. The interior divider worked great to separate some tools from our snacks, beverages along with a small gel ice pack.
