Topeak Joe Blow Sport III High-Pressure Floor Bicycle Pump

Ron - Irvine, CA: I bought and returned two pumps before I finally found this one and it works great! What I like most about it is the pump head. It is off to the side which makes attaching it and removing it very easy and I don't feel like the tube stem is going to break off like I did with the other models were the pump head lever is on top of the pump head.

In addition, the gauge is very easy to read and the construction feels solid and well bit. I hope to use this pump for many years to come!

saúl Burgos Camacho: No tengo mucha experiencia usando bombas asi que no tengo con que compararla, pero pues, su uso es muy facil, no tiene fugas de aire, es muy facil conectarla a la valvula y bombear. Da buen volumen de aire, en menos de un minuto ya tengo la presion requerida para mi bici, que en este caso es una MTB de 29" con valvula presta. He visto que recomiendan mucho este modelo y por eso lo adquiri. Hasta ahora ninguna queja.

Ramstone: This is a cracking, strong track pump. Clearly built to last, very easy to use. One of the best features is the size of the pressure dial and it's location, being closer to the top. Joseph Chagan: Puts out a good amount of pressure and the "hammer" head design is very convenient in a house with a variety of bikes. Seems to be solidly built and the gauge is very easy to see during use. No issues / complaints so far.

Bruce M. Walker: I upgraded to this pump after struggling to inflate high pressure road tires and large volume gravel tires on my two bikes. What really sold me on this one was the promise of large air volumes pushed easily, the built-in pressure indicator and the fact it's made from solid steel.

Plus I have been using Schrader-to-Presta screw on adapters and these are, to be frank, a pain in the rear end to use. They leak and are just unreliable and a nuisance. This pump has a reversible Presta/Schrader attachment that actually works.

This pump works like a dream. It's very easy for me to attach the nozzle to either Presta on my newer tires, or Schrader (I still have some older kit). The lever flips into the hold position solidly and with no leaks. The air hose is plenty long to reach the nozzle no matter where it's rotated to.

The pressure indicator responds continuously while I'm pumping. It's easy to read so I know what pressure I've reached, and it points at the dial markings without wavering. I really appreciate the little sliding diamond set-point marker so I can quickly see when I've reached the desired pressure.

Marty Johncox: I've tried several of the dual-piston foot-operated floor pumps and I liked those because they're compact and easy to carry in a car. However, they always had poor build quality and struggled to get my Gator Hardshell 700x28 tires to 110 psi. While this pump isn't nearly as compact as a foot pump, it does the job awesomely so I'm going to make room for it. I remove the three bolts holding the base to the pump to make it more compact. It took about 25 strokes to get the tire to 115 psi and yeah, the last few strokes took some effort but that's just how floor pumps are. I especially like the chuck lock. It fits very tightly with zero leakage on Presta valves and the lever moves smoothly sideways, not outward. On other floor pumps, the lever flips outwards quickly and always seems to whack my fingers or knuckles when I release it. But that doesn't happen with the Joe Blow due to the smooth lever design. Also, when you release the chuck lever, there is only the tiniest puff of air released from the hose - no huge loss of air from the tire as with cheaper pumps. G - Men Fan: This pump replaced a Bontrager pump that I've had for years; I already had to replace the head on that pump once, and after it started leaking again I decided to just buy a new pump. Like everyone else, I researched online to narrow my choices, and then checked reviews here on Amazon.

This pump feels solidly built, and I expect to get years of use out of it. The base is wide and easy to keep stable with my feet while pumping, and I can fill the tires on my 700 x 23 bicycle tires to 115 psi fairly quickly and without much effort. The gauge is low enough that it (hopefully) will not sustain any damage if the pump falls over, and even my aging eyes can see the graduations well enough to approximate the pressure (and there is a movable yellow marker that you can set to your desired pressure beforehand, which is even easier to see). I read in one review that the gauge may be off by several psi, but I don't know if any of my other gauges are more accurate to be able to do a comparison. Although I'll probably never use the included ball and bladder adapters, it's nice that they're included and that there is a place to store them.
