William Brent Fullam III: So some months ago my kitty mostly stopped drinking water from his old fountain (the common kind where the water spouts from a "flower" onto a small drinking area). Instead he started drinking the water from the small offering bowl of water on my Buddha meditation altar. Not the best decision of his! He'd quickly dirty the water and it just doesn't hold much and I imagine it got tepid pretty quickly. So I bought this about a week ago and set it up right away when it arrived (easy set up btw). Minutes later in strolls the kitty...Who proceeds to go for a drink! A loooong drink. And I saw him lapping away maybe an hour later. This made me very happy. When he's happy I'm happy (pretty much the reverse is true too lol). At first he was drinking from the basin but I noticed yesterday he's liking drinking from the "faucet" more and more. Happy kitty! Happy me! Great product!

Penguin: After watching my cats drink very little water from basic water bowls and then using my dogs' water bowls to wash their feet, I decided to purchase this water dish that is easy to assemble and has water running from a little faucet. My cats love it and spend lots of time drinking cold, moving water from this fountain. However, they still use both of my dogs' water bowls to wash their feet (which irritates my dogs and me). My dogs also like to drink from this water dish, but I ended up getting them something different and moving this dish to a location that only the cats can reach.

This water faucet is very quiet and the only time I hear anything is when water needs to be added.

Amazon Customer: I recently purchased this for my cats. Metal is much better to use than plastic since plastic harbors bacteria. It works great the water flows nicely and it’s very quiet. The only thing I wish it had was a window of some kind to see the water level without having to lift the top. I did not think of that when I purchased this fountain. Overall it’s a nice fountain but next time I will purchase one with the option to see the water level.

Sarah: The media could not be loaded.  My cat took to this fountain very quickly. He says it's a purrriffic gift for a cat. It's very easy to use. Just fill it up to the minium line and place the top on. Plug it in and the water starts coming out immediately. It's extremely quiet and I can't hear it running. I like that it is stainless steel to keep it easy to clean. It's a nice size so I only need to fill it every other day and I give it a rinse out. The tap design is nice to give it that appearance like a sink tap that my cat oh so LOVES to drink from! But, lucky for Mr. PICKLES he now has his own running tap 24/7! It's a very nice product and I look forward to watching my cat enjoy it for years to come.

Nadia: There are two models: The goose neck design is the very best out there on the larger model. I bought two of the larger models, but the second spout's water flow is off center & the first spout pours water right smack in the center. I got this smaller model because the price was momentarily reduced & my filters for other fountains fit this model, too. It's round & smaller which means kitty can easily approach the fountain at any angle. My kitty prefers the smaller model over the larger one--when put side by side.
I discovered this yesterday evening as soon as I put up the new fountain. This one has a simple spout & the larger one has a more curved one which seems to be at least plated in brass not copper. If it would be copper, the manufacturer would be bragging about it in writing. The components are simple, stainless steel & I am already familiar with the simple filters & tray. I have filters that fit, I like the small & less plastic holding tray. I don't care for the fountain to be so large--larger model--but I do like & prefer the round design which allows the kitty to have all inviting angles & my kitty seems to be fascinated with the...

Note: this is silent., no noise nuisance. Your guests may only wonder if you left a leaking faucet. It’s that silent. Love this ans especially my cats approuves immediately.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: Very easy to put together. I washed out the steel bowl and lid with soap and water first. Very quiet and I tasted the water after water ran thru the filter and it tastes so clean!! My cats have been sniffing but I haven't witnessed drinking as of yet. Only have it running for 24 hours now. I know my cats will come around in a day or two. I'm happy with the product. I had a fountain before made of plastic and after a few year using the plastic was hard to keep clean. I know the stainless steel is going to be a better cleaner material to keep sanitary. Only thing will be to watch the water level because there is not a window to see but the fact that it is all stainless steel is more important to me. I will check the water level every few days. I would recommend this water fountain if you are thinking of purchasing for your furbabies.

DUDE WHAT READS ROMANCE: This is a good product. The filters are cheap and easily replaced. The spout is seated firmly and you can lift the lid by the spout easily. The unit is really cleaned, as it is entirely steel. But there is one major flaw. The pump intake is more than 2.55 cm above the bottom of the water reservoir, so you must be aware that the true capacity is somewhat less than what you put in. No doubt an easily corrected issue with some handy work but I can't be bothered so one star removed.

WindGhostWindGhost: You will notice on the picture attached it is a bit different from the original product.
I did replace the faucet with a higher neck and I replaced the pump with a stronger one for a better water flow (my pump also have a home made warm white led attached to the pump).
The result is perfect.
I do flush, clean & refill the fountain EVERY morning, and the water I am adding is already filtered added with Colloidal Silver for minerals (1ml with 3L water)

The original pump provided had a very weak flow and barely able to shoot water in my higher neck faucet... It is easy to find a cat water pump on Amazon and the blue one does the job and no, it doesn't make more noise. (You will need to remove the original pump holder)
The higher faucet was coming from an old water dispenser. However, you need to get rid of the original pump holder because the height of the faucet will fit into the pump and hold it in the bottom.
The warm White Led was bought separately and I just cut the blue led to do a waterproof wiring with my Warm White one.

However, if you are not as fussy as I am, you can simply use it as the orginal does provide... it works !
