Setup was super easy and will be straight forward for anyone....Even someone who is new to using rings as myself. These were packaged extremely well and look exactly as pictured.
I weight 245 pounds and actually feel comfortable using these. They are solid as far as the straps making you feel safe and secure. There has not been any slippage, jerking, popping, or any abnormal issues with these straps so far. The thing I like the most about these is that they give you a superior grip. You really do not have to worry about chalking up or wearing specific gloves to assist with your grip, because the wood is comfortable, yet very stable in your hands. If there were such a thing as ergonomic rings, these would fit the bill.
The velcro that is attached to the straps is a big plus as well. Instead of worrying with how you are going to keep the excess strap out of your way, you can just bundle it up and secure it by using the velcro. We are constantly adjusting the length of the rings, so this makes that a lot easier than fighting tangles or frays due to excess strap hanging on the ground.
If anyone is concerned about these rings due to low reviews, don't...

Duke M.: I've purchased over 10 pairs of gymnastics rings over the years for my gym ranging from $100 to $15 a pair, but now if I have to purchase any more I'll only go with these hands down. The plastic ones never fell sturdy enough, are slippery when wet, are way to light, and forget about it if they have the rubber grip glued onto them - those are guaranteed to tear off sooner or later. The metal ones are to heavy, don't have the grip that wooden rings do especially when false gripping, make annoying clanking sounds, and can knock someone out if they came swinging at you unawares.
Go with wood rings, go with these, they hit the value mark perfectly. They are laminated wood which I prefer over the plastic and metal rings. They came sanded down, so I'm not sure what the other reviews were talking about. They were neither too heavy nor too light and felt really balanced overall. The straps are the extra wide webbing which I prefer and come with little velcro straps next to the clinching mechanism (however those consistently broke after the first week. Our athletes, ranging in size and weight from 80lbs to 200+lbs use these rings for movements like ring rows, pull ups, muscle ups,...

jSanchez: This is a review of the Titan Wood Gym Rings. Bottom line, it's a good set of gym rings for the price.
I bought the gym rings for my home gym as shown in the picture. The rings are a nice heavy hard wood from what I can tell. It's not a solid piece of wood but a series of laminated wood cut into a ring shape. I don't know if that's common but it seems to work ok. If I had to guess, I'd say they are imported...like a lot of things we buy. The straps and buckle are a solid webbing and buckle system that has not failed on me yet.
My two complaints about this set are (1) the rings needed sanding and (2) the straps need numbers or markings. Maybe it's expecting too much but I shouldn't get splinters when I rub my hands along the contours of the rings. It might be a little hard to see in the picture attached but if you look hard enough you can see splinters sticking out of the ring. I had to spend a good 20 mins on each ring to get it smooth, as shown in my other picture. As for the straps, some kind of sewn-in marking would've made setting them up significantly easier especially since I plan on varying the height on them periodically. Sure, I can add them myself but...

Bryan G.: I just set up these rings in my garage. I can't think of any complaints I have about these rings. They are very versatile, sturdy, and for an extremely fair price. I love the wood rings, compared to any other material; I believe this gives you the best grip and feels the best on your hands. Honestly, I barely have to use chalk to use these rings because the wood is very gripable. However, the chalk I do have grips better with these wood rings than other plastic olympic rings I have tried.
The straps are somewhat difficult to thread at first, but very secure so far. I haven't had any problems with the length of the straps changing on me at all. They are quick to adjust in order to perform different exercises. I think my favorite thing about these rings is that they are so long. This length allows me to perform pull ups, muscle ups, leg raises etc. but I can also lower them closer to the ground for dips, push ups, and rows. I noticed other ring straps have a standard of 16", which limits what you can do with these rings.
Overall, I think that the price of these rings make them a fantastic deal. Also, the wooden rings feel great and are easy to grip, and the length of...
