Brian: I was looking for the cheapest rings i could find.
I have a beautiful set of thick wooden rings for home, but wanted a set i could use at work, when traveling, or just outside on wet days.
These were the cheapest i could find on Amazon (found a different set many years ago for $11, but they're no longer available).
These have decent grip and can get wet without them breaking down(like many wood ones will).
I have taken these on my bicycle in rainy weather and stored them in a damp/humid locker room.
The straps are what you would expect for the price; not as wide as premiere rings, but they get the job done.
I'm 190 pounds and the straps have held without a problem. No fraying after a couple months of use.
I prefer thicker rings, but for the price, i can't complain.

Expat: Too soon to comment on durability, as it's only been a few days, but so far my (big, muscular) sons are loving these rings for pull-ups and dips. I chose these because the rings are plastic and we are using them outdoors. They seem sturdy. I found the instructions to be woefully inadequate and I took off a star for that. They need to show photos of the whole installation, not just the buckle. I hope we did it right... Also, they could give some instructions on how to use them. The website the box points you to is just their Amazon site. I found no instructional videos at all.

Terry Teabag: Use them quite frequently for dips and a few other exercises on a pull-up bar- absolutely brilliant, sturdy and easy to adjust. Let's you do really train those stability muscles. At first if you are new to the exercises it may be difficult to maintain form but stick at it and you will see marked improvements. Well worth a purchase!

Song Paez: The rings feel great in hand and the two buckles appear to be very sturdy and have good quality. The straps, however, look a bit on the skinny side. I'm only 65kg so not worried too much, but heavier fellows might want to make sure you set up correctly ie no twisting straps and the teeth are biting properly.
Also really like the fact that I can keep it outdoor without worrying about damage and rust issue.

Matti: This is a basic but sturdy set of gym rings with a set of long straps that are OK enough. Each ring weighs around 400 g. Both rings and the straps weigh in at 1.4 kg. The rings are textured which to some degree offsets the reputed slippiness of plastics, but not to such a degree that the rings cannot rotate in your hands (which is a requirement for some exercises). I find the grip to be fine for my uses, but if you plan on progressing to extended gymnastics routines with minutes of continuous consecutive work in and above the rings I would consider going for wooden rings.
I had major issues with threading the webbing through the cam buckle the first time I did it. With some adjustment of my technique, I am down to between five seconds (on a good day) and 25 seconds (on a bad day) of setup time per cam buckle. I solved my issues by:
1. Threading the webbing through the bottom of the cam buckle (as instructed), pulling a handful of it "backwards" and THEN threading the webbing through the appropriate opening while pressing on the part that says "press". This changes the "angle of attack". You are "attacking" the opening from a horizontal rather than a curved position....

NMR GLOBAL: Such value for money with the added bonus of a skipping rope. I ordered the rings at 4am in the morning and they turned up by 6pm that day, I had the choice of same day delivery and chose that because it was free, but didn't think I'd receive them later that day as it was a Sunday and it's for delivery times like that which is why I'm using Amazon for just about everything apart from clothing and food.
I only use the rings outdoors on trees and they are perfect I cannot fault them, the rings themselves are a solid plastic, impossible to break and the straps are thick and strong an after plenty of use are yet to wear .
I'm using the rings min 3 times a week you get a full body workout there's plenty of video's on YouTube for exercises . 5*

Adam: I purchased these rings about two weeks ago, here on Amazon from Elite Sportz Equipment. I paid full price and chose them above the cheaper option (these were the second cheapest when I shopped). The cheaper option had a lot of negative reviews, notes about smell and bad straps, etc. I chose the ESE rings because of the positive reviews, and so, wanted to add my voice of praise. They are awesome, and you should buy them. No need to pay more money unless you are a crazy professional who needs fancy wooden ones or something.
My main motivation for purchasing these was my son, who just turned 5. He is a climber, and will climb everything from flagpoles to door trim and everything in between that will support human weight. I frequently catch him hanging upside down from the handholds above the doors in our minivan (they are apparently strong enough to support the weight of a 5 year old). While visiting a local tumbling/gymnastics/jump-rope establishment I noticed that they had two sets of similar rings hanging. I inquired into their purpose, and was told they are an excellent core-training tool, as well as helping the children to get used to the motion of flipping and having...

Paul: It is because of sellers like these that I keep returning to Amazon and not the high street.
The exercise rings arrived promptly and well packaged and are exactly as described and pictured. The instructions for setting up the rings are easy to read and understand. The rings themselves are well made and a great addition to my home gym, there are countless instructional videos on Youtube on how to use these and the seller themselves have a few on their website.
The customer service was better than I was expecting, I received an additional order confirmation email direct from the seller as well as emails confirming delivery time, that delivery had taken place and to check my satisfaction with the product.

K. Dwane: I looked around quite a bit before I chose these. Originally, I had a suspension kit that attached a shared point which caused the straps to scrape my arms whenever doing any pushing motions, so these are the perfect solution.
They're extremely durable and the rings make you feel like your an Olympic trainee.
