Thrive S Shrimp-Safe All-in-One Aquarium Plant Fertilizer Liquid Food

Frodo Baggins: I had been using another brand name fertilizer and my plants were still struggling. I have root tabs to help with my plants also, but they still looked rough, so I bought thrive fertilizer for shrimp tanks and with in a couple days of the first use, they began to park up immediately. I’ve used this fertilizer a total of 3 times so far and my plants are taking off now… I cannot believe how quickly this stuff works. The other fertilizer I was using did not do at all what they’ve does!

Rick: Very simple to use, just two pumps a day for my heavily planted 20 gallon and I am set. The walstad hybrid grows beautifully and the floating plants are growing like crazy. I suppliment with added potassium and Iron as well just to really make the reds pop and help some plants that are starting to get a little "holey" Works great and lasts a while

But while I had issues early on, I believe I landed on where things went pear shaped so to speak. This does seem to be a solid product so much so, that I'm looking at the 4k ml bottle to toss on top of the two 500ml I got now into my 5k res.

But pics show growth not otherwise achieved in what I think is two weeks without this doing something right.

And yes the tannins / blackwater is on purpose, and I like it thst way if it keeps the right shading lol

Point being. Seems to be a pretty solid product for an invert tank w fish.

Glad I paid $40 for 1,000ml of a urine colored liquid that by all accounts is nothing but dyed water!

Around AboutAround About: So about a year ago I've set up a 10g high tech shrimp tank with ADA soil and things were going great until soil nutrients started getting depleted. Since it is a heavily planted Caridina (CRS) tank, I avoided putting any fertilizer in it until it was absolutely necessary. Slowly the growth of many plants has stopped and I've started observing signs of nutrient deficiencies (dwarf baby tears carpet stopped growing and started dying out and weak leaves on Alternanthera Reineckii mini and other plants).

Decided to go with this product (as I've used it 3 years ago as well) and dosing only half of the recommended dosage once a week I have observed incredible plant growth after just 3 weeks (that is right, after adding cumulatively only 1.5-2ml of this fertilizer during 3 week period). I have not found any dead shrimp, neither I had these issues 3 years ago with RCS tank so people having problems with this fert either got a bad batch or were overdosing their tanks.
