MHT Books: I had no idea what I was getting into when I started this book. We have the three men who run Olympus, Jace, Wolfe and Apollo. Then we have the FMC Kora, she has had a hard life and bad things happened to her and was just trying to have a new start in Sterling Falls. I really like the character development here and the relationships that Kora has with each guy. I don’t want to give away too much but it’s excellent. I’m starting the second book Fighter.

Holly Byers: It was Sara herself who told me to read this series at a local signing. I've read all her other series and standalones but was missing Sterling Falls, honestly a little turned away by the somewhat RH of this book. While it isn't an RH, a lot does venture that way in the beginning.

Kora and the boys have such a hard dynamic. It is a constant pull and push between them all, but that makes the softer moments so much more special.

Wolfe will definitely warm your heart and Apollo will protect you but don't count Jace out his hard exterior shell starts to Crack in Kora's presence.

🌸 Realize that this book is a book in a series … nothing 🌶️ happens until around 65% - so just keep in mind this is true story telling. With true angst - and true twists and turns that all have to be set up perfectly. But it’s worth it.

⌛️ This book has so many twists and turns and so many moving parts you will probably need to take notes like I did to really put it all together.

🌸 The FMC Kora is in a new place, trying new things - but what she stumbles upon turns her into more than just Kora. She becomes the invisible girl, that puts herself in one of the top gang leaders sites and turns her into something … more.

⌛️ There are 3 MMC’s - all Greek God related. Hades, Apollo and Ares. And honestly I’m truly unsure who I need to be in love with - but for now I think it’s Ares with Apollo being a close second - I am unsure how to feel about Hades because he is so withdrawn and he doesn’t truly give a lot of himself up in this book...

My Trending Books: Thisbis the first book o read from this author and it didn't dissapoint. I preface that this book is dark but so much more like Grey! I really liked the whole introduction to the series and the main characters! Kora and her guys are muah! Honestly the story is pretty compelling with gang members and referencing the Olympus and the Greek gods! I am definitely diving tot he next book in the series.

Luisa Andrade: This book picked my interest because of all this mysterious vibe it got going on.
But at the same time it was a little bit unrealistic for me. First I have no idea of how old these guys are, they hold so much power and their pasts are a big question mark. But for the first book of a series I think it was really good. I’m a little annoyed for the lack of answers but I’m going to read the nexts books to figure it out more!!!

Marisa: The blurb, meh. The actual book, so good. I guess the blurb did describe the plot fairly well but I wasn’t exactly sure how I felt about it. S Massery now has a rather large fan. I enjoyed her storytelling and I felt like I really connected to the female main character, Kora, especially on an emotional level. I love being able to feel her heartache, her helplessness but also her courage and see her doing everything she could to survive.

You just know there’s something more going on and the author piques your interest with each new interaction between the characters and their point of views. I had initially thought it was just from Kora’s point of view but then we started to get point of views from the men which somehow made the book even better. There is action front and center that we know about but there are a lot of politics, interactions and a bit of history behind the scenes that completely play into the bigger picture.

For those that know their Greek mythology, the characters and their names are pretty creative. You don’t even realize some of the connections until you think about it or they are actually mentioned by the characters.
