MAXYOYO Japanese Floor Mattress Futon Mattress is a fantastic mattress. It folds up easily and it is easy to move from place to place due to its light weight. You can use this in so many situations such as on a futon frame, as an extra padding for a lumpy or uncomfortable mattress or on the beach to sunbathe etc. I love the high density foam, multiple color options and the fact that it comes in king, queen, twin and full. These are great if you have multiple guests at your home because in an emergency you can at least put this on the floor and someone will get a good night's sleep. The dust proof cover is great because you can remove and wash it which preserves the mattress. There is also a helpful bandage in case you get a tear or cut in the fabric and a great storage bag. Lastly, I love the price for this item it is very reasonable. Many friends and family members have bought this product and love it as much as I do.

S. Miranda: I was expecting it to be thicker than it really was. I did let it sit for about 3 hrs before we tried it out to give it time to expand. It did... but it was still super thin. I really wanted to send it back. But we really needed it. So we had to use it. Definitely wish it was thicker

Christina Shover: Bought this bed because I have pretty bad back pain, and have had several people suggest sleeping on the floor with a mat, even my dad, who has scoliosis has suggested it. My two sons also like to sleep with their daddy and I, so our old queen was running out of room. I ordered two fulls and it gives us plenty of room. Last night was the first night sleeping on them, so it's hard to say if it's helped my back yet. The kiddos slept really well on them, and I know I did less tossing and turning, so I'll give it an A+ there.
So far the only thing I'd kinda complain about is they don't look like as full as their picture.
They do come with a sheet you can zip on which I adore because I had a 13in queen memory foam mattress that didn't puff up right so sheets just would not stay on it.
They fold up fairly easy, so if you want to fold them up during the day so you have more space you definitely can.

MCP: Update 9/25/2020:

Now, because of all the tightness and damage to my back, I have a partially torn hamstring (injured during mild exercise) and WALK WITH A CANE. I am literally disabled from the damage this horrible product did to my sciatica.

And with the lockdown I am having trouble disposing the large piece of garbage futons I bought nine months ago. I don’t want to pay $150 for junk removal on top of the $480 already wasted on this trash.

I’m just posting the full ramifications of buying this product so this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Update, 6/28/2020:

After sleeping on this futon doubled up with the puffier version (one piled on the other) for 6 1/2 months, I am in excruciating debilitating pain in my sciatica every second of every day.

This is the worst bed I’ve ever had in my life! I’ve finally broken down and purchased an air mattress from a local mattress store, which I am going to place on a double platform bed that a friend gave to me.
