Abigail BartleyAbigail Bartley: Found out about this bible from a friend and I knew I had to get it immediately. Read a few chapters so far and it is very interesting. The ONLY issue I have so far, is that the pages are really thin so it feels easy to tear, you have to be really careful. But so far, an amazing study guide.

Elizabeth66: I want to start by saying this really is a beautiful bible and it's packed with additional information. The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because it does have a major flaw. I bought this bible because of the larger print size. And while the actual bible part is very readable and a good size font, all the additional information is smaller and I can't read it comfortably at all. So if print size is why you're considering this bible, it may not be the most suitable one for you. If reading smaller print is not a problem I'd say this is a fantastic choice.

Dr_Bukks: I am happy that I'm able to pick a bible for myself for the first time.
All my other Bibles were bought by my Mom, but this time I got an early Birthday gift for myself.
Although my birthday is in July 😃

David Mccowan: This review hurts.
First, let me get something out of the way, I do fellowship with someone on the NIV committee.
Second, this was the first bible I ever purchased. When I had an urge to read the bible I watched Mike Winger’s series on translations, “The Good, the Bad, the Ugly,” and then settled on the NIV mainly because it is the best selling. /Wisdom of Crowds/ and all that. I started reading Proverbs and was bored and then a Ten Minute Bible Hour video suggested I read John, Acts, and then Romans. Between Acts and Romans I believed.
So this is the bible I was reading when I was saved. But it is not the bible I read during my first or second read through of the bible. I don’t remember when I switched but by the time Covid happened and I was memorizing scripture and I had switched to the CSB and then consulting either a more literal translation or the NLT when I was stuck on something. For my third reading of Scripture I decided to read this and all the notes.
On the NIV.
I loved the translation. I really wished people would not call it the non-inspired version, I was saved while reading it. Secondly I think the NIV fulfills their...

SGH: It’s one of the best bibles I’ve bought. It makes studying fun and easier. I really like the comments and questions and answer throughout the bible. The maps and articles are excellent. This is one purchase I’m very happy with.

Amazon CustomerAmazon Customer: I love that many of the questions that pop up in my head as I read through the chapters are answered on the side panel. It's a great study Bible, and gives you a brief look into the history of each book and its context before you dive in, which I find very helpful. I've been reading the Bible for almost 30 years, and I still learn so much each time I read through it, but its easy readability also makes it a great book for people new to the Bible! I've gifted it to two friends - one of them actually asked to read this one specifically. :D
