Cheri Roan: “For every disease, we know, God allows an herb to grow.” For me this simple quote sums it all up and Hobbs writes the perfect book to complement it. I never knew there were so many options to choose from to fight disease and including what may already be in our kitchen cupboards! The author takes away the confusion of using home remedies and herbs to battle sicknesses and gives us only the necessary detail. I didn’t come away with more questions – I actually got more than I bargained for in the answers. Exceptionally the author covers not only the why, but what oils, herbs, home remedies and recipes we should be using. I found the chapter on Colloidal silver a wonderful find for me as I had heard of its remarkable benefits, especially for dogs, however I had never found a clear explanation guide until now. Hobbs presents his subject well, flawlessly written with no lack of detail. A rare, powerful find belonging on anyone’s bookshelf wanting to use natural remedies to treat or prevent diseases –the way God intended.

Alex Dawkins: So many choices! I was so impressed by the sheer amount of natural remedies found in this book. This makes it so easy to go to a supermarket and find at least a few of these items in most parts of the world, I'd venture to say. The recipes look delicious as well! With each natural remedy listed, the author includes the health benefits, which are quite numerous. With the introduction of new items like colloidal silver, I'm left better educated because of this book. I've not heard of many of these remedies but I will remember them the next time I go grocery shopping.

What I appreciated most about this read is that a lot of what is listed can be used in preventive health-care, which is the best health-care of all in my opinion. Decrease the likelihood of debilitating sickness by using what you read in this book!
