Chandra: Two key learnings, enjoy this moment, be happy and make people around you happy. Life is short hatred does not help anyone, keep a smile on your face and salute this old man for what he went through

jeanne Sewell: Hatred breeds inhumanity no matter who is the object of our hatred. The truth of the gospel message, " love you neighbor as yourself", is one we all need to hear again and again. Thank you . Mr. Jaku.

Gabrielle: To read the atrocities he experienced and see how he didn’t let those take over and ruin his life, was just inspiring!
A great read to understand a first hand account of a Jews treatment in Nazi Germany. Also a great read to learn about how to make happiness a choice.

gabor s korthy: I am a second generation Halacaust survivor. My mother was Jewish in Nazi occupied Hungary. She her brother-in-law and a cousin were the only survivors of a large extended family. She never spoke of her war time experiences or how she survived. She took that story to her grave. Thank you Mr. Jaku for the courage to share yours. It has helped me understand why my mother could not.

Maury: We happen to have been at the Jewish Museum in Sydney on the day the then new Holocaust Museum was dedicated. That day we met Eddie and he spoke to a group of tourist that included us. Our tour guide saw him and invited him to meet us. He chose the time to focus on two teenagers in our group. He old them to never hate. It would harm you. Instead find love and do kind things to others. We will never forget meeting him. Reading his book only affirms his greatness and the wisdom of his words. Recommend this book to all.

Mary B: I can’t say I enjoyed this book because it deals with such an emotional topic, but I have visited the Holocaust museum. We all need to be reminded of this history when so many choose to forget. Well written account of one who has made his life a testimony, a great survivor.
