This a cute little book. It’s not exactly like a story book but more of a quick little tale. My son likes it and gets excited at the pictures. It only takes a couple minutes to go through it so it is very short. If you’re wanting something to actually read to your child for any length of time I’d choose a different book but for a small little Easter book this one is cute and has nice pictures.

Wouldn't recommend. Only reason I'm being generous in 2 stars is that the illustrations are colourful and detailed. The book is short and disappointing, nowhere close to the original.

I ordered this little book for my son's Easter basket and it was a hit. When I say "little" book, I definitely mean it. There's not much to it - just a few short pages - but my son is a big fan of the original Pout Pout fish book, so no complaints here. If you're expecting a lengthier book like the original, that's not what this is at all. Just a cute, short Easter book. It's been on repeat in our house even after Easter passed!
