Jill C: Highly recommend. Literally should be a prerequisite to touching a horse let alone owning one. :)

tinman: I'll probably need to read it several more times to let everything sink in. I'm trying to incorporate whatever I can in working with my horse and sharing with my trainers and others at the barn. Well worth reading, both for working working with horses, humans and otherwise on mammals.

Ashley W.: It is quite eye-opening to see how different are senses are. Understanding our differences has increased my horsemanship and I appreciate this reality check. My bond with horses have greatly improved. And it was great before.

Ms Faith Parker: I’ve had horses for years. Having lost one a year ago I decided to get a youngster and see the whole process from beginning to being backed through so we had a pony with no ones else’s baggage. I didn’t want to make mistakes but found I was quite accidentally through sheer lack of knowledge. So I’ve read book after book and was no further forward. To understand how to best bond and work with a horse/pony you have to grasp their inate behaviours and understand how they process things, how they learn, how they interpret things we are asking of them. This book is the most interesting book ever, it’s full of so much easy to read information and it makes sense of absolutely everything. I now realise I bumbled my way through before with such a lack of knowledge. Do t get me wrong I’m still learning with my ponies needs in mind but have such a greater foundation of knowledge from reading this book. I can’t recommend it enough.

Granny R: This was an excellent book that every novice or polished equestrian should read. Our horses deserve the humane treatment that comes from the information in this easy to read book. Very thorough and eye opening. Do your horse a favor and learn how his brain works and apply the knowledge you will derive from these chapters. Life changing.

Mary Ramsden:
This book is one of THE best books on horses vs humans (in a good way). I have a library of books on outdated and incorrect assumptions about how horses are best understood and trained. This is NOT just another one in a long line. Not at all! Science based, written in plain language, it is far and away one of the most ground breaking books to come along.
Get it! Read it! Start incorporating it!
If I could give it 10 stars I would!!!!
