Tracy M.: I wanted to love this a little more. I found it just ok. My kiddos got some laughs out of it. But it might actually be the worst book.

krisalicious: I purchased this book for my 7-year old who tends to be a bit sarcastic/dramatic ("this is the worst day EVER!"). On one of those "worst days ever" I said, "oh awesome! I have just the book for this terrible day" and after he scowled at it for a few pages he lightened up in spite of himself, then turned downright chipper a few more pages in. :)

The idea of the book is really the best thing and it's oddly therapeutic for a kid like mine - the story itself, the illustrations and the humor falls a bit flat for us. He does still reach for it when the mood strikes. Although I will say, my 3-year old will belly laugh until he cries at the boogery toot page.

The simple illustrations go brilliantly with the funny text.
