Karen P Boykin: This book clearly outlines what the Mediterranean diet is and how to follow it. It also has a number of menus and interesting recipes. I would recommend it for anyone who, like me, would just like a brief outline to help me keep on track as I adopt the Mediterranean diet !

brandyjocola: Recipe has a corresponding, gorgeous photo which I love! I made the cover photo meal (minus the parsley) and it was super easy to follow the recipe and the shakshuka was delicious! Even if you don't eat dairy or gluten like myself, these yummy recipes are super one!

Deebs: I just read this book; there are some inconsistencies such as, in the intro it states no red meat. Later, it states red meat once a week. In the conclusion it states red meat 3 times a week??? The writing is not the greatest and the pics are in b/w as others have mentioned. However, in the intro it does state it's an e-book. Maybe the electronic version is in color?
I flipped through all the recipes (70 total) and only found 5 I wouldn't make. There are lots of ingredients (nothing too outrageous) and lots of prep, so if you're looking for something quick and easy this may not be for you. Although I'm sure there are hacks and shortcuts to be found.

Preeti Paneru: I bought this book two months ago, and I cook at least something out of it every week. The cooking tips and flavors have me interested in cooking again. I love the easy to read directions and the background about the fish they give before each recipe. Yummy

MMM: I've owned this book for three years and use it often. Every recipe I've tried has turned out great. There are about two dozen that I make all the time and still some that I have not got around to trying.

Lauren Alexander: This book is excellent. Has the nutrition breakdown in the back of the book. Each recipe has clear directions and pictures of the steps. The ingredients can be found in any grocery store. There is a two page spread listing different types of fish with pictures of the actual cut. Highly recommend this book for someone who likes Mediterranean food or who wants to start a Mediterranean diet. The book gives insight into how to divide up food groups to create the Mediterranean diet. Lots of info in this book at 400 pages! WOW
