Susan: I wish I had the opportunity to read books like A Child Called It and The Lost Boy by Dave Pelzer when
I began teaching in 1966. I had no idea children might be treated so awful.

Mina: This is the second book in the series of The Child Called It. If you're going to read the first book, you must read this book as well. It's a little more uplifting than the first book. I would absolutely recommend buying this book.

Marissa: I’ve loved this book since a little kid because when you can relate to a book like this one it helps you know that you aren’t alone and helps the healing process of the broken child within you. Even if you didn’t have experiences like this man did, you can feel the emotions in his words! He is an absolute inspiration as a writer! 100% recommend reading this book even for psychological reasons to understand what someone close to you has went through! This book makes my tears flow and it’s a tough and hard book to read because of the disturbing facts of the truth but absolutely a WORK OF ART!

Alona: I just finished this book right after i read "Child called it", and i couldn't take my eyes off... I read those 2 books in 3-4 days (having 3 small children, it takes reading till early morning)... I am myself a survivor of child abuse... my mother is and always was a sick person, so reading this book I found myself relating to David so often, and I cried...and cried! It's an amazing writing and it makes me so happy to find out that David did not just survive, but made the best out of such horrific experiences.
