J. Taylor: Misty, God has surely used you as a weapon in the fight against abuse of all kinds! Yes, this book was difficult to read in places, but every word necessary to get through to those who need to hear the message, and I urge your readers not to close the book because it makes them uncomfortable. It is necessary for everyone, especially those in power or authority positions, to look at the truth and take action. Sadly, abuse will never go away completely, but if we can save any man woman or child from this horror, we owe it to our Creator to take action. A popular phrase comes to mind...What Would Jesus Do?

Ms. Lisa J. Duffill: Wow this is one heck of a story.
Story is not the right word to use as this was, is and will be Misty's life.
Thank you for sharing this with us Misty

Kindle Customer: This book was very good. I applaud Misty for having the courage to share her story. I didn’t like the fact that they threatened her for going to the police, she was a young child who was scared abused and alone.

Kathryn: Missy Griffin did an incredible job explaining and exposing some of the true horrors that have happened and continue to happen in Amish communities. She is a true hero. This book is hard to read at some points and difficult to put down.

Transparent Dream: Misty Griffin is a hero in my opinion. The strength, and courage it took for her to do all the amazing things she has done, and accomplished, is monumental. That there have been those who have criticized her for the things she was, through no fault of her own, unable to do, makes me incredibly angry. I imagine, for the most part, these are 'armchair warriors' , who have never done anything remotely helpful to anyone else in their lives. Such is the way of the most judgemental in the world.
I'm so amazed by the strength, perseverance, and fortitude of this woman. How, with all she lived through, she was able to keep moving forward, is a testament to an indomitable spirit. Far less has broken so many. My hope is that life brings her unlimited joy, and happiness. I don't include peace, because what she is dedicating her life to, is far from being a peaceful existence. But she deserves inner serenity. This woman is an inspiration. We can ALL do more, and be better in pursuit of helping our fellow travelers in life. Sadly, we will never end mans inhumanity to man. But with people like Misty around, at least some will be saved. And like the story of the starfish on a beach (* see...

Amazon Customer: I found it to be repetitive and poorly written which is a shame as I had been really looking forward to reading this book for a while.

Marilou Holstrom: I’m in shock yet because of the abuse these so called religious people can get away with!! To do this over and over to these kids and get away with it is absolutely disgusting. I pray that this book opens up more eyes to this travesty going on.
