Reader Lady: A startlingly believe able novel set in Poland during WWII with compelling characters and a daring plot. I am so glad I discovered this book on a FB ad. Happy reading!

Christina16: I loved this book. I read it in a day, I just couldn’t put it down. The beautiful love between Wanda and Finn amongst the tragedy, and the suspenseful and riveting story kept me engrossed. The sacrifices some of the characters made were heartbreaking. I find myself revisiting the story and thinking about it. It truly touched my heart. I cannot wait to read other books by this author.

jenny valentine: Really liked this book !
Good characters, background, setting, authenticity and a bit of suspence.
Slightly predictable, but only in good way.
Very enjoyable, and appreciated the injection of faith, as minimal as it was.
Well written and definitely recommend.

wanderingparakeet: The premise was great...a spy takes over for his evil Nazi twin in ww2 Warsaw....how bad could it be!?! The beginning set up was great bringing you into the town, people and time....you meet Wanda who meet both brothers in one day...then you meet Finn who has a back story which I would have like enhanced when it came to his previous missions if only to see how differently he led them. The problem that jolted me was when it came to Finns speech both as a German and when using endorsements he came from this time rather than the 40's and it was jarring to be thrown out of the time period...being a spy just seemed to be a plot to put him where the author needed him....more a live story than just using ww2 as a background....AGAIN I wanted to enjoy this and I will read the authors next book to see if improvements hsppen...maybe an editor can bring some reality of the time setting back into play....
