Applewhite Minyard: The instructions are clear and each recipe includes which setting to use and the amount of ingredients for three loaf sizes. She also has good photos and a brief description and tips for each selection. Sometimes her amounts are a little confusing, like 1 and a half eggs or 2 and one eighth tablespoons, but that is a function of trying to be too precise while using standard American measurements. It is pretty easy to see what she means and to make a note on a particular recipe you try so you'll know how You measured it. The book is a little brief and has a number of dough recipes toward the end that use the bread maker only to make the dough; then you have to bake it the rest of the way in the oven, but overall, a very useful and user-friendly book.

Mimi: Measurement is all ounces, which is not really good for me in Canada. Plus, "wheat" does not clearly explain which kind of "wheat" flour I should use. The order of putting the ingredients is not too clear. There is this email address at the end of the book, saying "please ask me questions" but there is no answers for months. I got the Ultimate Bread Machine Cookbook. That was more helpful for a beginner like me. For the fairness, I tried one recipe from this book and it did work with all my guess work! So, I should give more tries. BUT. I now have a book that serves me better. Thank you.

Amazon Customer: This cookbook has a lot of very good looking recipes in it. I've only made one thing out of it so far, but it turned out great. I was looking for one with three different sizes of loaves of bread and this one has that. Be sure and follow your own particular bread machine's directions on what order to put ingredients in and you'll have it made. Yum!

Kitty: Just bought this book and skimming through the recipes, I have noticed many obvious errors in the volume of ingredients. If you compare the columns for each size of loaf, it is apparent that there is a typo or error in the amount relative to the size of loaf. I.e. one recipe says 1/6 cup for 1 pound loaf, 1 cup for 1 1/2 pound loaf and 1 1/3 for the 2 pound loaf. Another has measuring spoon amount for one size and cups worth for the next size loaf. I believe I can determine what was intended, but aren’t we paying for proper editing as well as the author’s knowledge. Haven't made any of the recipes yet, so can't comment of quality. Just irritated by the initial viewing of my purchase.

wiseoleowl: This is your basic (knead 😀) to know about bread machine. It answers many (?'s) you have when you first make purchase of bread machine. There are recipes in it that's simple to read and make. Best part of the recipes is that, there the one's that most people want to make. This book covers a lot from making to freezing, storing. Very well simply written, didn't feel like I needed to find another book to get a clear understanding. Recommend this book Highly!!!!

Jackie Kahn: I have tried so many bread machine Cook books, most are poorly worded, poorly proof read, and overly complicated or just plain poorly done. The simplicity of this cook book is perfection. All questions are simply answered, i.e what happens if too much salt is added, how many slices, kcals, protein, carbs, etc in a 1.5 lb loaf - amazing and wonderful. The best part are the receipts themselves. They're good, their clear and there's something for everyone. 5 stars is not enough, thank you.

Warren: Great variety of recipes.
There a lot of useful background information about bread making in this book. Better still, the recipes are easy to read and logical. So far I've tried the bannanna bread recipe and it was yum yum. I can see myself making use of these recipes for years to come.

VR: FINALLY I found the kind of a cookbook that I wanted! Daniella gives you three "recipes" for each bread. 1 for 8 slices of bread (1 pound), 2 is for 12 slices of bread (1.5 pound loaf), and 3 is for 18 slices ( 2 pound loaf). For someone who lives alone and hates wasting 1.5 pounds of fresh bread, I am looking forward to trying many of the "8 slice" recipes.
The instructions seem clear and easy to follow.

Amazon Customer: This cookbook was badly proofed. Many recipes don't make sense. One recipe calls for 1/6th cup of water to 2 cups of flour, another asks for more flour for the small loaf than for the medium loaf. These are just two examples of many. The discrepancies are easily spotted. If you are experienced with using bread machines, you can correct the recipe. The book has a good variety of recipes. I have given it three stars because of the recipes that were badly written and not proofed.
