Nicki: I got this book as a gift for my grandmother and she loves it. There are so many great recipes in it and it covers from sweet to savory and everything in between. The recipes are super easy to follow as well.

Kelton Oliver: The recipes are easy and yield good results. The author seems to be obsessed with gluten; almost every recipe calls for it. However, I’ve made at least two dozen of these recipes and never once added gluten yet my bread comes out just fine. I do find that I usually get better results with just a little more than the recommended amount of yeast. For example, if the recipe calls for 2.5 teaspoons, I’ll typically use 3 tsp. It’s easy to overdo, though, so if you choose to tweak the recipe, use caution. Otherwise, I have no criticism of the book.

Lori szypniewski: I made the hamburger buns from this book first. They were the best buns I’ve tasted in a long time. Hubby took a leftover burger for lunch and people were wanting to know where they could buy such nice buns. They thought he purchased deli buns from a bakery. Also made a white loaf of bread equally delicious. Just purchased a second book to gift

L. Thompson: Take any negative reviews on this book "with a grain of salt" - a little bread making pun. People say all kinds of things in the negative reviews that just aren't true. One person said there was no recipes for Pizza Dough. See, now that is someone who either does not want to read or cannot read. This is a fantastic book. I do not believe that bread making - even with a machine - is easy. There are a lot of factors that go into making a good loaf of bread. People who want this to be easy right off the bat will be disappointed. But, if you read the book and follow directions and listen to wisdom - you will be successful. If you want to look at a recipe and dump the ingredients in without thinking and have a successful result - you will never make good bread. All machines are different.
I first bought a cheap machine - $79. I followed the recipe booklet that came with it to a T - but not a single loaf I tried in that machine came out right. I decided to buy a Zojirushi Maestro from a business in Vermont that has the word king in the title. It is an excellent machine and I have had great results using it. If you're going to use this bread book for your machine, you have to be...

Deborah Moore: I had a bread machine decades ago when the only recipes available were in the manual that came with the appliance. I used that machine to make pizza dough. The bread baked in the machine was heavy....badly shaped...and just weird.
I am now retired and locked down because of the pandemic so I splurged on a new bread machine. I have used three of the recipes in this cookbook....one for whole wheat bread...one for pizza dough...and one for focaccia.....the focaccia turned out beautifully...the pizza dough was good....I am still experimenting with the whole wheat bread...the first two attempts led to dough bursting out of the machine during the rising phase....but I have finally produced two consecutive loaves of very nice bread....especially when toasted. Cinnamon buns are next.

W. Kurtz: This is an excellent value for the price and I can't recommend it highly enough. With around 300 recipes for bread ranging from white to wheat, sourdough to rye, egg to dessert breads, and with recipes from all over Europe, the United States, and different periods of history (the Indian Graham Bread is a treat, even for those who aren't Colonial America lovers) you get a lot of recipes with very little space wasted by unnecessary color photos. Many of her breads can be made entirely in the breadmaker and consist of only two steps (put ingredients in and turn on machine, and then take out when done). For those who want more of a challenge, there are also a number of recipes that require being shaped and finished in the oven. In short the recipes range from very easy to those with more steps after making the dough in the breadmaker (baking in oven, making a biga ahead of time, shaping dough, etc). I have found that many of her recipes work very well without any adjustments, but keep in mind that all machines are different and you will probably need to experiment a little.
I will admit that I had some trouble at first with the recipes here. And there are some like the...
