Dr. Amber Epps: I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to let everyone know that the recipes in this book are amazing. They are flavorful and fulfilling. There is so much variety and I haven't been disappointed yet. One thing I would like to point out though is that you have to make sure you have time to prepare the meals, which would mean preparing your lunch ahead of time if you are someone who is not working from home. I love that this book uses fresh ingredients and highly recommend it for people looking into making an easy transition into a healthier way of eating!

Brenda C Binkerd: I have heard for more than 30 years that an alkaline diet is beneficial in reducing bodily inflammation, but knowing what foods to eat and what to avoid has been a problem. This book explains the acid-alkaline issue in easy-to-understand language. It also provides great menu suggestions, a 30-day meal plan, and easy recipes for meals and snacks. Now I can incorporate more alkaline foods into my diet and understand what kinds of foods I might want to avoid, in order to reduce the bodily inflammation that accompanies my fibromyalgia.

Kathleen Paap: I liked the explanation of alkaline diet - it was a quick read. I have tried one recipe and it was okay: this was due to a mistake on my end...would try again. If I had a criticism of the book it is that it is directed towards beginners, however, the ingredients are something that is not in most beginners pantries and seems geared towards someone who has practiced the diet for awhile and is interested in taking to the next level.

Amazon Customer: Overall very good advice regarding how the alkaline diet works, the only complaint I have is I wish the author would of provided a much larger list of foods. A lot of foods were missing. I found it very limiting. But as I said, I WOULD recommend this book, for a beginner, it really is the nuts and bolts of what an alkaline diet is. And I have been following it by the book for about 6 weeks now, and I DO have more energy, less acid during the day and I am noticing my clothes are getting loser. This will be a life time way of eating for me and I love this way of eating. Surprisingly I don't miss desserts or dairy or meat. I eat everything in smaller proportions too.

FD: This book is very helpful to me. I suffer from a chronic disease (inflammation of my intern body and had no success with any type of diet). This book explain clearly the reason and how I can Eat a balanced amount of food: a formula of 80% of alkaline food with 20% of acid-produced food). Within couple days My symptoms disappear and plus I gain a significant energy that I never felt since couple years.

MilsNY: It includes a 30 day meal plan, with recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks that are easy and fast to prepare, with a short list of simple, accessible ingredients. I'm moving to an alcaline life for 2017! I bought 2 other books about alcaline diet, and this seems to be the right one for me.
