M Hoffmann: Love it!! Such a beautiful colour and display. Greater functionality and ease of use compared to my old TI-83. Worth every penny!!

Elle Belle: Just as expected. My daughter has had it for a trimester and it works great. She especially likes the color combo, which is a plus because no one has one like it so no confusing hers with other classmates or school calculators. It also has a color screen which she found so much better and easier to read. It is expensive, but not too much more than the original and the color screen is worth it. A necessity for algebra with a few upgrades!

Cooking Mom: Best calculator ever. Not lying at all. It is literally the best. Very easy to use and the fact that it is colour-abled makes it convenient for graphing multiple functions (or whatever you bought it for). It also holds charge very well, and my daughter only had to charge it every two months or so and that was with constant use almost every day for around 2 hours. Its slim body also makes it nice to hold, much better than the older model, though I will say it does make it slightly susceptible to falling, especially when the back grips fall off (which they will, because they always fall off unless you superglue them in). But other than that, its a nice calculator and because it's TI, it's definitely going to last a few years.

Olivia Sorensen:
I'm a private math tutor - this calculator is the best. The backlit screen is a HUGE upgrade from the TI-84+. It's visible even in the dim coffee-shop lighting I work in. Also, the color graphs are really helpful. Since it's the same button layout as the TI-84's, students are familiar with its basic workings (unlike the similarly fancy but very confusing Nspire). The rechargeable battery and on-screen battery indicator is also great.
If you had an old TI-84+ whose software hadn't been updated, you'll also be impressed with the new formatting and line scrolling (exponents type on their own superscript line, parentheses/brackets are different sizes depending on placement, you can enter numbers/variables directly into operators...etc.)
All in all, this was worth every penny, even though it's expensive. Excellent investment for students or teachers.

Dan: -I recently started business school and a TI or Casio business level or higher calculator is mandatory for lectures and homework. However the TI family of graphing calculators are much easier to use, and offer much more functionality for real world business applications than the TI-BA II Plus or Professional models. This model, the TI-84 Plus CE offers the same extensive programability that the the TI graphic family off calculators has offered for the past 20 years, however it is much more flexible and performs tasks faster with a more clean and simple to operate, user experience. I am also an owner of a TI-83 Plus Silver Edition (the see through model with silver tone and a B/W screen) and the TI-BA II Plus. Yes, the color screen may be seen as a novelty for someone who doesn't really need or understand the usefulness of such a device; but for someone who is processing real business, geometric or scientific calculations this calculator makes the user more comfortable and competitive because of these evolutionary new features; at last, thats what it did for me. As long as the user clearly understands and practices the process of how to enter data and operate the...

SophiaSophia: Purchased for my highschool IB math classes, upgraded from a TI-83. Bought it used and it came in near perfect condition, but missing the slide cover, which isn't great. It was mentioned, however, so I can't complain. It came with all the apps normally on a TI, but hadn't been the latest OS (not an issue).
It's a very pretty colour, and much thinner and lighter than my old calculator. I have noticed the screen picks up a lot of smudges (probably why they make slide covers), but it's nothing major.
My only complaints about this product would be the cost (but such is life, as all TIs are overpriced), lack of slide cover (just... why?), and the fact that I recieved mine a week late (it was shipped from the US to Canada though). I'm overall pleased.
