TENS Unit Massage Therapy Device with 24 Massage Modes - TechCare Muscle Stimulator

NSB: This is best reasonably priced TENS/EMS unit I've owned, out of many units I've used over many years.

PROS:

- The larger, touchscreen design makes for incredibly easy use... Removed the need for endlessly pressing various patterns into a small button cluster to get the desired setting.

- The large screen shows EMS/TENS (or both) icons for all 24 settings... Unlike older/other units where unless you've memorized it's contolls, one's left scrolling thru all functions to find a good setting, this unit's on screen icons indicating if the selected setting is TENS/EMS therapy only, or can be used for both is real helpful. As sometimes I prefer using a mild (TENS) setting & like the EMS for other uses, I find it a big improvement seeing what each setting is.

- If it's got enough charge to use a single channel (A or B alone) I've found it's got the power for 4 or 6 pad configurations without notable loss of intensity... Most similar units I've owned quickly lose effectiveness using A/B channels together when not fully charged.

- Good price, well made, true 24 function TENS/EMS unit & kit contains same pads/items as other similarly priced models...

P_J_P: Information on this TENS unit is not to be found in any central location. You have to dig around for it. Here is some that I have gathered from the brochure and the TechCare website. I am very new to this, so I am experimenting and learning. Unless you have someone that really knows these units and can help you, you are pretty much on your own. I will say the unit takes getting used to. It also has all the power you'll need. It has quirks....but it works.

Mode 1 contains tapping, scraping, bodybuilding, knocking waveforms;
First Circle is Kneading Modes (TENS )

Mode 2 contains acupuncture, foot therapy, trigger point Lomi lomi waveforms;
Second Circle is Swedish Modes ( EMS )

Mode 3 contains strike,reflexology, Tha chi,nuge massage waveforms;
Third Circle is Reflexology (TENS )

Mode 4 contains kneading,butterfly,shiatsu-deep stretching waveforms;
Fourth Circle is Scraping Modes ( TENS )

Mode 5 contains cupping, sports, Swedish thai waveforms;
Fifth Circle is Cupping Modes ( TENS & EMS COMBO )

Mode 6 contains rubbing, assorted,stepping,auto waveforms
Sixth Circle is Tai Chi (TENS & EMS COMBO )
