TS: I bought this for oil pan and transmission pan gasket jobs, which require both the right torque and consistent torque between bolts. The other concern is that since the steel bolts are going into aluminum threads, you must not over tighten or you'll strip the threads. This inch pound torque wrench did great. At each bolt I could both hear and feel the click clearly, and at each bolt it felt like it was clicking at the same pressure.
Setting the torque is easy, and there is a positive engagement at each foot pound setting. The settings are easy to read.
The wrench feels solid and it comes in a nice zippered hard case that keeps it protected in my tool drawer.

Frank P.: Never knew I needed a 1/4" drive torque wrench until I started using one. It takes a little bit of getting used to as the audible click is not as loud as larger torque wrenches but you can definitely feel the click.
I had to practice a bit on a bolt and nut set up in a vise in order to get a feel for the click.
I love using it knowing that even the low torque fasteners will be tightened to factory spec.

Alpo: Perfect size, I chose this one because needed to be compact as possible for certain engine jobs with minimal clearance (head thickness and body length mattered) I do own some satisfied tekton tools so didn’t hesitate with the brand. I think this is the smallest one or one of the smallest ones out there but note it goes only up to 150 inch lbs. the 200 inch lbs has a bit more length to it which Would not work in my situation. I would get this if you need a very small sized torque wrench that requires only up to 150 inch lbs. finish quality is good, 72 teeth, comes with soft case. BUT it did skip some teeth in the beginning when trying to torque a bolt. Haven’t done it recently, I’ll see if this keeps on continuing haven’t used it enough yet but it’s not a deal breaker, my fine tooth snap on ratchets does it too at times. Overall satisfied.

It worked exactly as advertised and feels as accurate as my other torque wrenches. I replaced my 3/8" wrench with a Tekton too, because I liked this one so much.
