john: Snap on re branded this tool, like so many of there tools. Work great, and would always recommend looking into the big three brands and comparing with otc, gear wrench, Milwaukee, oem, you’ll see there is not much difference. It’s all made at the same place

TAG: Love this wrench. It’s old school good…American made, simple, durable….it’s awesome. Highly recommended.

Amazon Customer: Great tool, being a tourque wrench it makes sense that the head doesn't flex a lot. I recently used it to tourque some drive shaft cap bolts and it worked great. I had to use a short extension because the head did not flex enough to clear other parts I had to reach around but again it's a tourque wrench so don't expect to get a lot angle out of it. So far it's been worth the money.

JohnJohn: Overall this is a very practical choice of torque wrench, mainly because of its dependable accuracy and affordable price. No torque wrench does everything and there are plenty of different designs to best suit particular applications and personal preferences. eg. shorter vs longer, fixed versus flexing head, direct indicating vs signaling, reversible etc. I own a number of different torque wrenches including a couple of the latest Snap-on TechAngle models, some direct indicating beam types, and a few Tohnichi dial type (but nothing with a wind-up spring). They are all different and none can be described as best, just best for a particular application. Unless a wrench is needed for some kind of production or repetitive use, the first consideration should always default to accuracy. A long term reliable 4% wrench is much better than a cheap wind-up model claiming 3% accuracy when new! IMO the only clicker wrenches worth considering are the split beam type, as most acme branded wind-up-spring clicker types are scary unreliable and best avoided (stretching springs & very inconsistent click mechanisms). Snap-on and Norbar etc make good ones like that but are quite expensive to buy...

N8N: I have nothing really bad to say about this torque wrench; it's great, seems to be accurate (was calibrated before shipping, anyway) and the "click" is much more pronounced than on my smaller micrometer-type Snap-On torque wrench. I really only have a few negatives to report about this product.

Pros:

1) No need to wind it all the way to zero before storage like a micrometer type wrench. To me this is great.

2) It just works.

3) very easy to adjust torque setting, much more so than a micrometer type.

Cons:

1) Only works in clockwise direction, so cannot be used to torque left hand thread fasteners. Probably only a concern to you if you are planning on using it on the lug nuts of an old MoPar or Studebaker. This is a characteristic of the split-beam design; if you need that capability, you're probably better off getting a micrometer type torque wrench.

2) Assuming that it's in calibration, it still is probably not as dead on accurate as a micrometer type as the scale graduations are much closer together, unless you're really good at visually interpolating. Definitely good enough for automotive work though.

3) This one sounds...
