bigmac: I am pleased with this range finder. It is easy to use and accuracy is legit. The slope feature is what drew my interest in this product and so far it has not disappointed. Everything is as described. Hopefully it will continue to work this well for years to come.

Reçu très rapidement, je l'utilise pour du tir à l'arc sur des distances allant de 7 à 90m, j'ai constaté une erreur d'environ 60cm en moins en vérifiant avec un double décamètre, il y a t'il un moyen de l'étalonner, ce n'est pas indiqué dans la notice.

amr-golf: Had to return the 1st one after a couple months of use. After a little back and forth with the Company on eliminating "operator error" -t they sent a replacement. They work pretty good most of the time (wife has one also). Will be working fine then all of the sudden...won't read. Next day they work fine! Can't see any rhyme or reason as to why it stops reading. Bottom line is that it is not a Bushnell Scope. It's a entry level scope at a reasonable price and it works as advertised...most of the time!

PHH: I LOVE my rangefinder. I looked at reviews for months and wanted this one but waited for a price drop. It is worth every penny. I like it better than my handheld Garmin GPS. I don't have to charge it every time I play and I keep extra batteries in my bag just in case. I haven't had to replace them yet. It is very simple to use, just point and shoot. The pinlock does take a few seconds but the vibration is strong. I have been checking accuracy against the GPS on the carts and markers on the course and they are within a foot of each other. This has really helped me select clubs. The slope function works well and is easy to turn on and off by just sliding the front part. Well worth the cost

Marty in Calgary: I like that it finds the pin quickly, the vibrate function is really helpful, and the slope function is a must.
The company is French, but the a downside is that it's made in China.
I've been trying to avoid anything made in China, but the device is well made and does not feel cheap.
I find often on Amazon products don't indicate where they are made.

Anthony: To be fair this is the first range finder I have purchased. I wanted one with SLOPE features but also wasn't willing to spend 6-700$ for the top end brands. At half the price, this one was a winner. Compared with other golfers range finders, this was as good, if not better (most don't have slope) and way more accurate (and faster) than the APP I was accustom to using. It did take some practice to hit the pin consistently but the vibration feedback when you do is great. Would recommend!

john: I have using this for a few months, most asked questions lately is “what you get”, very accurate, to one decimal point, love the vibration at lock, the easy handling and when allowed, the slope. Certainly seems rugged enough with all the rubberized edges, but just in case a wrist strap for the extra cautious. Not sure of the battery life, extensively used these last few months and going strong, the initial battery placement showed a brilliant design for the compartment, why most other products don’t make this easier is a puzzle. Definitely worth the money, you won’t be disappointed, if only I was as happy with my play.

Toddolophogus: As a single-digit golfer, I have tried a number of rangefinders over the years - whether it was my own or other golfers' rangefinders. In my opinion, this rangefinder provides the best performance for the price. It has a very clear view that does not require a manual focus on the target, it locks onto distances above 250 yards, and it provides the slope if you desire. Many of the more expensive brand (Nikon, Bushnell, Callaway, etc.) rangefinders also offer these options, but they are typically in the $250-$350 range.

This is my 2nd TecTecTec rangefinder, I was happy with the old one until a friend dropped it out of their golf cart and broke it.

The only downside to the product is you have to hit the button to power it on, then wait a moment before you can shoot the target. It also takes a moment to lock onto the target, but this is due to the rapid measurements it uses to provide a more accurate distance. I've gotten used to it and simply hit the button as soon as I grab the rangefinder and by the time I'm ready to shoot the target it is ready to go.

I would definitely suggest this product to anyone who is looking for a great quality product but does not want...

Bumperm49: Exceeded my expectations. Spent $400 on a range finder just a couple of years ago that doesn't have near the quality or the accuracy and severely lacks all of the "bells and whistles" golfers want at a reasonable price in a range finder. The ULT-X does everything I need to have done accurately, easily, timely, and efficiently. Distances are almost instantaneous and are to the 1/10th of a yard. Objects can be measured out to 1000 yards. It has the slope feature, which is awesome, and when you don't need it is simple to disable. It has the "pin seeker and jolt action", also quick and accurate. What I really like is the feature that allows you to hold down the power button for difficult shots and scan distances one after another around that shot. I think it's extremely well made, waterproof and comes with a two year warranty. And no, I'm not an employee nor am I being paid for this evaluation. I am an extremely happy end user!! Quality AND completeness at an affordable price. Tectectec is awesome and I highly recommend this range finder over others on the market. Don't take my word for it. Buy it and see for yourself!!! If it doesn't bring a smile to your face, send it back!!!
