RC Helicopter FlierRC Helicopter Flier: The rangefinder came in a small brown box and was so much smaller than I expected. Upon opening up the box, I found the rangefinder itself is actually quite small. It is smaller than a smartphone in length and width and can easily fit in a large pocket. The kit comes with the rangefinder, a cloth carrying bag, a micro USB cable for charging, a lanyard, a micro fiber cloth wipe, and instructions manual. See picture for what is included.
The rangefinder itself is very nice and seems very well built. The instructions manual is pretty easy to understand. The rangefinder is rechargeable through a micro USB b port and it turns off after 20 seconds of non-usage. The range finder can measure distances from 5-600m or 5-650 yards. The range finder can measure in either meters or yards. I really wish it had the ability to measure in feet, but it isn’t such a big deal as you can just multiply your measurement in yards by 3. Using the rangefinder is very easy. When it is powered off, it functions as a telescope. The optics are very clear. When it is powered on, you just need to point the crosshairs at the object you with to measure, then press the power button and it will tell you the...

Nate P.Nate P.: For those who don’t feel like reading a giant review, let me summarize my impressions before I get into all the details. For the size, weight, accuracy, and many functions of this rangefinder, the overall value is absolutely outstanding! While there might be a few TINY details that could be improved upon, I don’t think you would ever expect to find them in a unit in this price bracket! Absolutely thrilled with this little device! That being said, here are a few extra details for those interested…
Optics - The optical quality and clarity might not stand up to a pair of top-end binoculars, but that’s where you have to deal with trade-offs. In order to keep this unit light-weight, a smaller set of lenses must be used and you just can’t get the light-gathering ability that you would with large objectives that weigh a ton. Keeping that in mind, when used at objects beyond about 10m, your subject and the internal display are all nicely crisp and without major distortion or chromatic aberration. Since the objective lens is a bit small and they provide 6x magnification, the image will be a bit dim if the surroundings aren’t well lit, but since these are designed with...
